But the same thing happened for me with the Ark, and I’m definitely glad I got him.
So we’ll see. Images of the finished figure should help.
I don't transform the ship I have. It stays a ship. They couldn't make it and not have it transform, and I get that - but I just want the ships. For me, it's an insta-buy, because as you say, the ship mode is on-point.
WHen I'm dead my kids or grandkids can transform it to their hearts content.
I’m most likely with you on this…
Really, assuming I do buy her, she’ll stay in ship mode.
Now, still not an instant purchase for me; the bot mode has to at least help justify the cost.
But I’m already leaning towards preordering this when it’s possible.
I just watched that segment of the livestream again before starting this post, and I’m figuring out that the long arms and lower legs don’t bother me as they did initially.
I know a lot of these characters were designed with relatively human-esque proportions, but in a case like the Nemesis, I almost think the proportions should be less human-like.
This is the representation of a ginormous robot from outer space.
It also helps that there are no character animation models to compare this to and possibly get hung-up on.
I was hoping this would be good— it will be the last Titan I ever buy.
And I’m already thinking about how to build a diorama that allows the lower/underside tail fin to remain vertical…. Should be a fun project.
For me this does look better than the Ark.
I had confidence, but glad Hastak delivered the goods once again.
