Transformers Legacy Line Discussion
Looking at this and the arc, I am starting to think that doing Titan classes of the Autobot Shuttle, the Decepticon Space Cruiser/underwater HQ, and The Revenge might not be out of the question.
Even though I know they're not the same ship, I don't think there are enough differences between the Nemesis and the Victory for them to release it as a separate product. If add-on makers produce sets for the Nemesis, I imagine they'll include parts for Victory's thrusters.

Really like the design for the Nemesis (though, I will be calling her Slipstream Supreme for my collection). Definitely wanna pick her up, but that release date's a huge surprise to me. Hopefully there will still be copies by Christmas as that's when I tend to prefer picking up my titans

Absolutely loving the way the Nemesis looks. The botmode looks huge, agile and deadly, like an EVA. Maybe would have liked some little equivalent to Teletraan-1 (but smaller), like that tower that served as the entrance for the Decepticon base. I know it's a different ship, but the context is the same. No matter though, this thing looks beautiful as is.

I wish they did something with those pointy shoulders, as well as the fins on her legs. Also, in ship mode, that bulbous bottom on the front kinda reminds me of a turkey neck...

I agree about the shoulders. And it looks as if they are using those big spikes on the shoulders in their boast about it being "23.5 inches tall". Which seems like cheating. I generally don't count protrusions towards a figure's overall height. For me, when the robot is standing in a normal pose, it's the height from head to foot which is what I count...

That sounds like a good idea until you assemble furniture and find out the toys don't fit

Because of the backpack and the very high shoulders, there can't be any forward arm movement. I felt like something was off, that may be why I couldn't preorder her

In ship mode she looks great for the most part, I think that mode was given priority over the robot. Unfortunate for me, since I plan on having her in robot mode mostly. Now I have to decide if i should get the Ark to go with her. I was holding out for a repaint for The Last Autobot, but that's highly unlikely now.

It looks like they didn't even build in shoulder rotation, but the transformation design and stability may have contributed to that choice, too.
Edit: scratch that, there is at least one stock image with limited shoulder rotation, I missed that.

Those flaps on her back can probably be folded.

The wings on her back can probably fold back to increase the range of shoulder articulation. Those wings look like they're formed by the vertical fin that splits into two halves that fold outward.

I really love the way she looks! If you didn't know she was nearly two feet tall you'd probably assume she was a Deluxe figure for how dynamic they were able to get the posing in the photos. I don't miss the smaller robot being included at all because they made up for it with weapons. Nothing worse than a Titan that trades any and all weapons for a wrong colored extra figure (looking at you, Ark). There was rumor or maybe just speculation that she'd be able to interact with Tarn, I wonder if there's still a chance of that happening? They only officially mentioned Skyquake and Needlenose interacting in the instructions and during the live stream after all rather than on the box and in stock photos. Not actually sure what kind of interaction they could have though.

It isn't great, but it's there. If it's a full rotation then simply closing the wings a little will fix any restrictions.
For Legacy Shrapnel's gun/leg accessories: Like many others, I was living in blissful ignorance until this difference was pointed out. That is kind of subtle and I can see how it could be overlooked. It's a small enough thing that it can be ignored, unless you're the kind who is annoyed by any lack of symmetry.
Thing is, if you are one of the (seemingly many) unfortunates who have fallen victim to this mis-matching, what can you DO about it? Will Hasbro send out replacement parts if you contact them? Or will you have to send the whole figure back, and they'll send you out another, and risk them doing the same thing all over again? We know what the problem is, but affected persons don't have a solution.
Perhaps Seibertron could set up an "exchange" thread, wherein people who have these mis-matched accessories can compare them, find compatible mis-matches, and arrange swaps online? If it'll start the ball rolling, my Shrapnel figure has two copies of the "4" stamped leg/gun accessories. If there's anyone out there who needs to swap out a "2" or a "3" copy of theirs, and get a "4" replacement? Let me know and I'll arrange for my minions to make the trade!
Perhaps the code stamps on the box can shed some light on which pieces we're getting with the figure.

If this:

then is it possible this:

is a twisted take on this?:

I really wouldn't put it past Hasbro if there was at least a little bit of influence here.
Also I really want to see Tow-Line repainted into Robot Masters Wrecker Hook to go with the upcoming Straxus.

Is Straxus definitely happening now? I remember a listing was leaked a couple of years ago, and he was intended to be a Leader in the first year of legacy based on his most recent comic design, but he was replaced with Transmetal 2 Megatron. Has another leak come out recently?

I gotta admit, I'm mildly tempted by Nemesis. Her ship form is much more interesting than the Ark, though I almost wish I'd bought him too now.
