Like they did for the classic deluxe.
Yet they didn't for the Titan Returns one.

Shockwave: I'm gonna go with a slightly-tweaked Metalhawk, since it's got a good amount of kibble already in the right places, it would be easy to retool/replace the chest, and the number of transformation steps is already close.Sabrblade wrote:So, who wants to guess what molds this Shockwave and Orion will be made out of? Must be the former because this is the only TF fan site I visit. Just a very lucky guess is all.
I'm sticking with my guess of either Metal Hawk or a Siege Seeker retool. For Prime probably the Siege mold since I think it gives them more freedom to mess around with the truck mode. I can't see them going Deluxe, but maybe Hound could be used for Roller if there's a bottom half of the set featuring some Dekuxe figures.
Watch them do Impactor again.

We started getting every Beast Wars character leading into a Beast themed movie. Now were getting a bunch of prewar characters leading into a prewar movie.
Toy development does not happen that quick and we know that they have been interesting in putting Beast Wars characters in the movies sense "The Last Knight" and "Rise of the Beast" was pushed back multiple times because both the pandemic and the need for more production time. The point of Kingdom was to bring the Beasts back into peoples memories and to be sure that Hasbro had all those name trademarks again. So it's a safe assumption that all these prewar two packs regardless of being based on G1, IDW or the Highmoon games are a form of brand synergy to get people in the mind set of prewar Transformers to build hype for "Transformers One".

Prime is said to be deluxe in the listing, so maybe just Kup again. Though the mold that would suit the IDW version best I think would be the new armada cab figure.
Shockwave would be metalhawk, pretty sure.

Well that's dumb, it should be the same Prime that was friends with Shockwave who was basically G1 Prime with some Cybertronian kibble in bot mode. We just got TWO deluxe Orion Pax figures in the past few years, time for a proper Voyager IDW version. The DW version was his War Within body, which would be a nice figure to have, but I don't see them making one. Wouldn't surprise me if they just reused the Pulse Orion Pax mold (from SS86 Kup) and gave it a new head.
Hopefully the listing is wrong as a lot of previous Amazon leaks have been such as the Golden Disk listings.

Except, Optimus was never called "Orion Pax" in Dreamwave. There, his pre-Optimus name was "Optronix".sol magnus wrote:As for Pax, he's not IDW at all. He's Dreamwave - he was never a data clerk in IDW v.1.

Would be be large enough as a voyager if he had the combining capability?I wonder if Trashmaster is an Armada Overload retool since it has Evo-Fusion features?

I swear he had green instead of gold once too, so they've got options.Emerje wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Purple and lavender?Emerje wrote:Shockwave is a retooled Siege Seeker (called it!). They said they'd fight for a color variant if people ask for it, possibly as a Selects.
This one.
Ehhh, nothing about them really looked similar based off the prototype we saw, Trashmaster's got a window chest and presumably turns into a garbage truck. I don't see it (as much as I would be down for an Overload).Emerje wrote:I wonder if Trashmaster is an Armada Overload retool since it has Evo-Fusion features?
