The latest wave of Legacy consists of Core Snarl, Deluxe Strongarm, Detritus, Shadow Striker and Bombshell, Voyager Trashmaster and Bludgeon and Leader Dreadwing. Most of them are out now, but a couple haven't shipped out yet. The next wave after that will be the first of Legacy 2024, so it most likely won't be out until January.

Having read through this again, it's a damn shame that I'll have to wait more than a year for Soundwave, but thankfully Side Burn and Vector Prime should be out just in time for TFNation 2024, so I'll see if I can get them there instead of pre-ordering them.

Amazon is playing musical ship dates again. Nova Prime should be here today, Shadow Striker is arriving Tuesday and Bludgeon next Friday.

You don't, the US was also set for October 1st, Amazon must have gotten some in and started shipping them. The ones that haven't started shipping yet (Bombshell, Trashmaster, core Snarl and Dreadwing) all still say October 1st just like Amazon.ca.

I have a lot of updates and pictures, so long post incoming.

First up, I got my Nacelle and Deadshot pack.

Nacelle had no mold on him, victory for me. He looks great.

Javelin is super solid and really nice, they did great with her. I love this toy, she looks and functions great. New rifle is also really cool.

Dare I say Kaskade is also really fun and good? I didn't get Chromia, and Nightbird sucked, but Kaskade really owns the mold. The colors are nice, and the sniper rifle is cool. I really like this release.

Nacelle will be grouped with Redwing and Hotlink for a trio, and all 3 and Kaskade will form a small shelf which will include Nemesis once I get her. A sort of "favorites" con shelf.

Javelin went to the Lost Light shelf, seeing as MTMTE was her introduction and I like her with Nautica. Miner Megatron also went to that shelf, as he is my Terminus now. It's actually really nice how Legacy is helping fill out the Lost Light crew.

Speaking of Megatron, he and Ratbat do look good

Moving on, I got another Scarr. I wanted one to stand alone with the crew. I love this little dork.

Armada Optimus Prime continues to prove why he is the figure of the year. He is just so good.

Last up, redoing some shelves this weekend to integrate new guys and also to mix some things up, the Legacy crew is fitting in nicely within the shelves. Shockwave and Orion joined the shelf alongside Optimus, Rodimus, and A3, in a display I like. The Decepticons are also nicely flushed out, and the new Dinobot/Junkion/some other stuff display also has come out nicely. I cannot wait to get Detritus and Trashmaster

And I like ratbat's skinwalker-like head. I have siege Megatron but that miner megs looks pretty badass. Decisions decisions

I say get these sets, including the Senator Shockwave and Orion Pax. Those are relevant characters unlike last year's bones and will be sold out faster.

Also, the Reprolabels for Miner Mega and Ratbat are a must. They really make these characters POP.

I dont like the Orion Pax too much except for the axe, but I do like the idea of having Senator Shockwave. I love the arc they gave his character, very tragic. Almost vader-like

The Repros for Megs are amazing and they give you a TON of options. As for Ratbat, the Repros make him look ROYAL.

I'll consider getting the repros for Orion and Shocky too.

The sniper 2-pack and the Orion Pax/Shockwave pack are my 2 favorites of the subline. They really did a good job with all 4 of those figures.

I got my Bludgeon in today, the first of the new wave I got.

He is really good. I was sort of lukewarm on Tarn for whatever reason, but Bludgeon is just really damn good. I love his colors, and that new head is wicked! And this mold makes a great swordsman.

So I opened the sniper 2-pack yesterday and it has been a while since I handled the Siege Chromia mold. I sold mine off long ago and wasn't much of a fan of the mold. I liked T-30 Chromia better and have LG Nightbird so I passed on the selects version. I don't mind a meh mold for an obscure character with no other options, so I'm happy with Kaskade.

I'm still not that much of a fan of the mold, but I had forgotton about one amusing detail, the removable panties which sometimes decide to pop off mid transformation. Sorry Kaskade, that was totally not intentional.

The Javelin retolling is nice and a great re-use of the Bee movie Arcee mold, no complaints on her.

I like the set overall, just got to be careful not to lose the panties which is something I never imagied I'd be saying about a transformer toy.

Played around a bit with the cab section, and I gotta say it really is good. Definitely deserves the Best of Legacy for the Hall of Fame vote.

My only issue is the grill tab, it seems to not want to stay in. I might sand it down a bit when I get back.

Found at GameStop Canada, the Legacy Evolution Armada Universe Hot Shot and Jolt pack! I have no idea if it's a Pulse/GameStop exclusive or not.

First thing you'll notice is how damn expensive it is. 68$CAN (50$US) for non-Edge members plus taxes is a lot of money. Way, way more than Red Cog.

WHY?

This is why:

There is lots of stuff. The minicon Jolt is basically a CORE CLASS Transformers. Plus, there's two extra guns, plus two sets of 3 blast effects for 6 total.

The little Jolt is fantastic, despite his lack of paint.
He's complex enough and he's fairly articulated.

Hot Shot himself is not bad, but he's not great. Especially on th backpack that come undone too easily, as well has his knees. But otherwise, he's fine enough.

He really shine with his extra guns and the :michaelbay:

BLOOOOOOOOOOSH :michaelbay:

effects.

Oh, and Jolt can do the hover mode.

The transformation is interesting enough. Plus the vehicle looks great. Except on my copy, the coloring on the roof panels are different and doesn't match with each others for reasons.

Fully equipped, the car is awesome.

My Armada crew is looking good! Now only Armada Wheeljack is needed. Plus if they can make the other minicons as core class figures. Maybe as a 3 pack?

Was is worth that much money? Ultimately, not really. I say the set may be 10$CAN too expensive. Regardless, I don't regret my purchase. I FOMO'd hard on this one and there's no way that I would gamble finding it on sale.

No, we knew it was a PulseCon release back when it was first unveiled at SDCC. The question was about USD price.
