Wouldn't that make Tidal Wave an awfully small Titan since the poster shows him connected to Armada Megatron?

JTPrime just confirmed titan Tidal Wave and Commander Magmatron
The poster shows Armada Megatron combined with Tidal Wave.Stormshot_Prime wrote:I know that Tidal Wave is going to be a Titan, but how cool would it be if he could still somehow interact with Legacy Armada Megs?
What? No he doesn't, he looks like himself. Like his cartoon model.TK415 wrote:Since Tidalwave looks like a repaint of the Arc,

We said he's Commander class, not Leader class.o.supreme wrote:Also YES I'd fully expected Magmatron (and an eventual BWII Galvatron) to be a Leader Class , as are most other villainous faction Leaders. I know Leader Class (along with others class) have shrunk in recent years, but Magmatron could still work in the upper end of what a leader class can be. I suppose a CC could work for Magmatron, but again, like Kingdom Rodimus Prime, it wouldn't be worth the $90 price point, no matter how well developed.

There hasn't been a mass-retail mainline Titan retooled from another since Fort Max was retooled from Metroplex, and that was a different Hasbro team, too. Every mass-retail mainline Titan to come since Fort Max has been an all new mold:TK415 wrote:I think it would be better if Tidalwave is a brand new mold, with the three different vehicles that combine. If TW is just a repaint/retool of the Ark, It will be the most pointless titan since TR Fortmax.

The design team confirmed recently that the Ark would not be used to make Tidal Wave.

Since the Star Seekers are the Walmart capsule, based off the example set by Velocitron and Toxitron we can probably expect an initial reveal & preorders in March/Spring (which would align with the "wait 6 months" tease the design team gave about the Chase retool) and actual release in July/Summer.Razorbeast88 wrote:When is that star seeker line supposed to come out anyways? I'm sure they will.

Just imagine all the articulation that this Titan figure will have that the Armada line figure didn't!!!

I'm guessing the goal for making a Titan Tidal Wave in the first place is to make him Cybertron Metroplex's rival.

The double headlights on the feet and exhaust on the sides give it away. There's notches on the hood for an engine to plug into.
I didn't say it would be good.

How big did you remember his hawk legs being?
I own one, I didn't forget. The original had some meaty thighs, but the Colonel wouldn't look twice at United Tiger Hawk.

Which is why a Generations Big Convoy would be a Voyager just like most other Heroic Faction leaders in modern Generations.
