Xaaron's a civilian leader (more or less), not a warrior. He's always been kind of dinky.

There's that panel, but in another panel he's the same height as Springer. Just another example of adherence to a rigid scale being futile in Transformers.

Impactor should have never been a Deluxe to begin with. He needed to be a Voyager at the very least.

I'm very excited for Xaaron. I've loved the character since first discovering him in the Marvel UK comics that I found at a comic store back in the late 1980s near Detroit. He's been high on my list of "must have" figures for a long time. I was disappointed after FOC Ruination teased him but Xaaron was never properly delivered. Until now!

I'm not thrilled about the comic "shading" they're doing which seems to be this series equivalent to Siege battle damage. Not sure why anyone at Hasbro thinks that kind of stuff looks good.

I like it in a bubble (like like how I liked 35th Prime and Megatron in a bubble), but not mixed with other figures. I think they've spent too much on these Comic Edition retools to use them only once. We'll either see clean decos of Xaaron, Flame and Straxus as Selects or other exclusives, in Studio Series as a comic offshoot, or in the 13 Primes Trilogy(?), Xaaron would especially fit in that line.

You mean "A Level"? No, that's for Studio Series, which includes SS86 Deluxe Bumblebee and TF One Deluxe Optimus Prime.

I never would have pictured Reflector to be used, but his size is appropriate alongside the other Wreckers and Powermaster Optimus Prime. I just figured they would have retoolwd that Siege Megatron mold one more time if they ever did Xaaron since Xaaron is based off a less detailed and cannonless G1 Megatron.

While that was what I had envisioned, I'm actually really happy with the Reflector mold used for him. Just not a fan of that comic shading but I'm sure he'll be released again or repro labels can fix that chest or maybe some rubbing alcohol or tea tree oil.
