Drag Strip is the only one who has any consistent presence in stores right now, and that's mainly at Walmart due to the absolute glut of Wave 1 Deluxes they still have.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Stupid question, can people still find the other four Stunticons in stores easily with Breakdown releasing?

I was in a similar mindset. I wasn't keen on the whole cartoon accuracy thing, so I was going to pass. But at the same time I've always loathed the CW Motormaster and have used CW Cyclonus with the 4 Stunticon limbs. I did like Legacy Motormaster once he was revealed, and a few months later I walked into a Game Stop in search of a discounted Coronation Starscream. I did find Starscream there, along with a Dragstrip that was also marked down to $12, so I thought What the hell. Next thing I knew I was buying the others online and preordering the last 2.o.supreme wrote:Oddly enough,I swore I wasn't getting the Legacy Stunticons early on. One day during the summer however, my daughter sent me a picture of Motormaster at Target. I figure it was cruel fate, since I've never seen one myself, and it was only FOMO that convinced me to have her pick it up for me.

Most people feel the same as you. I have the UW Menasor, and I'm ok with it. Normally I am a huge fan of animation accurate design, but the fact that Legacy Stunticons had no compatibility with other combiners, in fact, it can only be assembled one way (well the leg components can be exchanged, but you get what I mean) was a real hindrance to my interest. I think with the legs being able to be "somewhat" compatible with CW/UW/PotP was an early attempt, but as the designers stated (and fans several have confirmed) the connection isn't stable, and CW Legs look terrible on Legacy Menasor. When it came to the arms, they just said, "forget it, we're doing our own thing".
Ultimately, I figure one Menasor will be my TRUE Menasor, and the other will be my "Autobot Masquerade" Menasor, I just haven't determined which is which yet.
On the other hand, the more wobbly one shares the same molds as those comprised of Optimus Maximus/Convoy Grand Prime, and so could more convincingly be believed to be Autobots in disguise, instead of the genuine Stunticons who know how to form a sturdy, stable Menasor configuration.Sentinel_Primal wrote:o.supreme wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I was in a similar mindset. If it helps, I think the one where the Stunticons are being held together by ports and posts would be similar to Windcharger's magnetism

They talked about that in a livestream, they kept the Legacy box so that MISB collectors would have a unified set.

Okay Hasbro, please make the next deluxe with extras sold at voyager a literal spoiler pack with a white, red and yellow spoiler. And since it is gang molded with Breakdown's gun, give us 3 of those as well. If you are really smart you can make the deluxe figure ER Sunstreaker to appease those who missed out.

Is there any point into MISB collecting these open boxes, or those with no opening at all with just a picture?

I think since the opened packaging still allows you to see the figure, I can understand if someone wanted to keep anything MISP.
I’m keeping my NF Prime and Soundwave sealed because you can saw the entire figure, which looks fantastic.
But with image-only packaging, imo that’s really tough to justify.
I get it, there’s a toy in there… But not being able to see it?? Pshhh.
I’m still a bit bummed that these last 3 Dinobots won’t have window packages…
I get it, and yet for these 3 Leader Class figures, I wish they would’ve made an exception.
