Drag Strip is the only one who has any consistent presence in stores right now, and that's mainly at Walmart due to the absolute glut of Wave 1 Deluxes they still have.

I only ever saw a single Wild Rider at Target once, and which I'm convinced was a damaged return since its box was in terrible shape. I never ever saw Dead End or Motormaster in stores.

I did see empty shelf spots at Target that were reserved for Motormaster, but no Motormaster toys on them.

I never did see Motormaster in store.
I know finding my copy of Dead End was a lucky fluke, but I’m betting I’ll see him again at some point in the next two weeks. But like I mentioned above, I went with TFSource just in case.
Both Wild Rider and Dragstrip have been long gone in my area, & I will be shocked if I ever see either one again.

If you’re wanting them, I’d try and get the first 3 online.
The last 2 you should be able to find in a store.

Yep. Dragstrtat Walmart is about it. Get the others from online retailers if you can. Wildrider I only saw a couple of times. I got Dead End and Brakedown from Amazon.

Oddly enough,I swore I wasn't getting the Legacy Stunticons early on. One day during the summer however, my daughter sent me a picture of Motormaster at Target. I figure it was cruel fate, since I've never seen one myself, and it was only FOMO that convinced me to have her pick it up for me.

I was in a similar mindset. I wasn't keen on the whole cartoon accuracy thing, so I was going to pass. But at the same time I've always loathed the CW Motormaster and have used CW Cyclonus with the 4 Stunticon limbs. I did like Legacy Motormaster once he was revealed, and a few months later I walked into a Game Stop in search of a discounted Coronation Starscream. I did find Starscream there, along with a Dragstrip that was also marked down to $12, so I thought What the hell. Next thing I knew I was buying the others online and preordering the last 2.

I've only seen Dragstrip in stores like most everyone else and since I've waited so long hoping he'd either show up or get a lower price online (I didn't pre-order wave 3, I thought for sure wave 2 not being in stores was a fluke and the final waves from WFC weren't hard to find) I ended up pre-ordering Dead End off AmiAmi since I always have stuff on order there and the exchange rate brought it down to $21.

Hopefully Legacy Evolution wave 1 will be in high supply like Legacy wave 1 was, just maybe not so high they clog the pegs for an entire year.

Most people feel the same as you. I have the UW Menasor, and I'm ok with it. Normally I am a huge fan of animation accurate design, but the fact that Legacy Stunticons had no compatibility with other combiners, in fact, it can only be assembled one way (well the leg components can be exchanged, but you get what I mean) was a real hindrance to my interest. I think with the legs being able to be "somewhat" compatible with CW/UW/PotP was an early attempt, but as the designers stated (and fans several have confirmed) the connection isn't stable, and CW Legs look terrible on Legacy Menasor. When it came to the arms, they just said, "forget it, we're doing our own thing".

Ultimately, I figure one Menasor will be my TRUE Menasor, and the other will be my "Autobot Masquerade" Menasor, I just haven't determined which is which yet. ;)

If it helps, I think the one where the Stunticons are being held together by ports and posts would be similar to Windcharger's magnetism

On the other hand, the more wobbly one shares the same molds as those comprised of Optimus Maximus/Convoy Grand Prime, and so could more convincingly be believed to be Autobots in disguise, instead of the genuine Stunticons who know how to form a sturdy, stable Menasor configuration. ;)

On the other, other hand, one at least doesn't look like it's wearing its friends as armour, with the components properly forming limbs ;)

I joke of course, I'm largely glad I didn't bother with the legacy stunticons, but it does look the better toy to pose (I'm guessing due to its structure it can hold itself better) so it all depends on how you display your collection.

It's not anything new at this point to see photos of the completed Legacy Menasor, but I thought I'd share a couple shots of the add-on wheel covers I picked up for Dragstrip.
The ones for Wild Rider's rear wheels are alright... I like how aggressive they look, but both the color and size are a bit off. Those will be easy enough to remove if I want.
But I'm very happy with this purchase overall, and would recommend this to anyone who isn't happy seeing the pegs showing through 4 of Dragstrip's wheels.

So I got Needlenose today, he's a very fun little guy. I'm of the mind that jets should all be voyagers (mainly for scale's sake) but I'm happy to be wrong on this one.

He's very posable, his deco is sharp, and I like the Targetmasters as well. His underside kibble is practically nonexistent, which is great, considering he's a deluxe jet.

My only 2 minor complaints are that in mine the Targetmasters were in pieces in the rolled up paper and Zigzag's barrel piece doesn't want to stay on. The joint is tight and every time I fold the barrel up or down it pops off. The other is that he has no landing gear in jet mode, he just kinda sits there.

Here's a few shots. I apologize ahead, I'm not very good at taking quality pix.

Not any big deal at all, but I found it odd that Breakdown’s instructions were labeled Legacy Evolution…

The box was specifically said to be designed to match the other 4 Stunticons for the MISB collectors so they wouldn't have one that stuck out

They talked about that in a livestream, they kept the Legacy box so that MISB collectors would have a unified set.

Is there any point into MISB collecting these open boxes, or those with no opening at all with just a picture?

Except they kind of failed at that by including the Evolution tech specs and QR code on the very top panel, making him stand out.

Okay Hasbro, please make the next deluxe with extras sold at voyager a literal spoiler pack with a white, red and yellow spoiler. And since it is gang molded with Breakdown's gun, give us 3 of those as well. If you are really smart you can make the deluxe figure ER Sunstreaker to appease those who missed out.

But the box is just Legacy…. ???

They talked about that in a livestream, they kept the Legacy box so that MISB collectors would have a unified set.

Is there any point into MISB collecting these open boxes, or those with no opening at all with just a picture?

I think since the opened packaging still allows you to see the figure, I can understand if someone wanted to keep anything MISP.
I’m keeping my NF Prime and Soundwave sealed because you can saw the entire figure, which looks fantastic.
But with image-only packaging, imo that’s really tough to justify.
I get it, there’s a toy in there… But not being able to see it?? Pshhh.
I’m still a bit bummed that these last 3 Dinobots won’t have window packages…
I get it, and yet for these 3 Leader Class figures, I wish they would’ve made an exception.

Not only that but these new packaging's cardboard is very, very thin and easy to crease.

Still better than Select MISB collecting though.
Come see my latest creation, the COMPLETE combiner team, Scorponok and his Pretenders, forming SHELLSHOCK

Legacy Menasor Box Set with Pin Limited to 100 and China Exclusive

Postby william-james88 » Wed Jan 18, 2023 10:42 am

Motto: "'till All Are One"
As we saw with Volcanicus, the Legacy Stunticons are being packaged in an exclusive boxet for the Chinese market. These are exactly the same as the original releases in the same packaging but they are then packaged in a box that also comes with an enamel pin. The box and pin set are limited to the first 100 orders, however all 5 components of Menasor can still be ordered at once past the first 100 orders. They simply wont get the big box nor coin.

For more info on ordering, you can check out this link: https://detail.tmall.com/item_o.htm?spm ... 6135178433
