Vector Prime will be my only purchase from this wave
Maybe it's because I'm not as attached to the character but I like the jhiaxus mold and I don't think this is so bad
The proportions are a little lanky/wonky but I think it looks good

Patiently waiting for an updated TF:A-inspired quadruple-changing Shockwave in the generations toyline

My guess is that the wings are too pointy on the ends to be able to use the hard clear plastic, or too fragile on the drop test, and so they had to use something softer and had to settle for that color sprue.

Possibly.

I can't see it, especially if you consider the chest design to the guy. Also, Sideways was a short, stout character and figure while this Jhiaxus mold seems more designed for taller, lanky bots. Not sure it would be a good fit.
EDIT: I read Straxxus as Jhiaxus. Derp.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Sideways was tall and lanky. I thin you are picturing someone else.

The chest can be retooled to match Straxxus better.
He's very much the same general idea as Straxxus: flying thing with a large gun on top.
Ahh, did not realize Sideways was a deluxe. and Straxus was a Leader. Well so much for my idea.

For all the complaints against Vector prime it sure did sell out pretty fast! lol
Nothing of interest to me here, Vector Prime looks alright but not enough to warrant $35.

I don't think Vector Prime is that bad. Just like Jhiaxus, he's a bit too simple for voyager, but it's this or nothing. For what it's worth, I also thought he should have been leader sized brand new mold. Jhiaxus could be used for Armada Thrust. Preordered Comic Grimlock. Any idea when Straxus will be available?

Hot Shot is a nice sided deluxe, good and big!
Vector Prime surprised me with how good he looks. not perfect mind you, but I wasn't expecting that retool, and he looks pretty decent.
*sniff, sniff* What was that?

Okay, not sure who corrected what, but I'll meet someone errrm...one quarter of the way and agree that I always loosely associate Cybertron Sideways/Noisemaze with Jhiaxus in that he looks like he should be repainted into one of the Liege Centruro's Cybertronian flunkies. Is it possible the designer actually based him on some of Manny Galan's generics in addition to whatever shuttle design his alt is supposed to be?
That green and white redeco is the one of the few possible products of all these Cybertron 20th anniversary updates that I'd buy the $&*%! out of!

Hot Shot looks basically perfect, instant preorder.
Nucleous looks so close to something I would like, but again, the fact that he is actually straight-up made of rocks ruins it for me. If he was just a cool TF moon buggy with a club made of rockets and that same color scheme and head design, absolutely, but as it is, can't get past the weirdness.
Vector Prime looked a little rough to me in the render, but the in-hand look at him in the stream sold me, that metallic paint looks so good. If his arms had been retooled to have his armguards, he would basically be perfect (and/or if he had Safeguard, but honestly I was expecting him not to have him at this rate), but as-is I'm still on board.
Straxus should be an absolute pickup, barring any weird unforseen decisions, super happy to have him confirmed out of nowhere.

That three pack is very similar to the previous one with Megs, so I'm not certain of the appeal of it. For me anyway.

The appeal would first be for those who missed out on the Netflix Soundwave and want some extra figures for the price they'd pay on eBay.
Or for those who missed out on all 3.
Or the hardcore who don't mind triple-dipping.
