Whoops! I don't know why I didn't just look for a clearer picture, I zoomed in on this image and it looked purple to me.
I really need to get some sleep, it's been 22 hours...
I still stand by what I said about us not knowing if they would have painted it up differently originally since we have no photos that I'm aware of of the robot head on the early version. Most Deluxe BW figures have painted heads, Tarantulas is a bit of a standout only having the eyes painted on both heads (though Waspinator only had the bot face painted).

Well, Octopunch hasn't been in any of the numerous leaks we've gotten.
And it kinda looks like Breakdown and Windsweeper might be fighting the tentacles, suggesting the tentacles might be from an enemy of the Decepticons rather than an ally, which could imply they're fighting Quintessons.

I'm thinking Claw Jaw from the IDW 2005 run. I know, he was a Mayhem member himself in that run, but that's the only thing I can think of when I see orange tentacles. I doubt that means we're getting a figure.

Probably not! Though I don't really go the vintage route anymore as they don't really fit in with more current figures. Getting the legacy treatment for a lot of these guys is far fetched but I can be patient haha
Still hoping they revisit Polar Claw. That one I do have the original. I also have B'Boom but a new one would be amazing

I would be very happy if Bludgeon was just a placeholder and it ended up being Octopunch, maybe with an extra mask that looks like the symbol. No idea what He'd have as an alt mode, we don't have any modern crab, boat or octopus figures around.

Indeed it is and the transformation got me stumped (doing it without instructions). I didn't expect the black bar that hold the arms to be on a slider.
The only annoying bits I find with Magmatron is that the blast effects got nowhere to go (the sword thing is silly) and no dinos can be a fire breather. So the blasts are boxed.
The second is the common flaw of the hollow spaces, but I expect some upgrade kits to fill these up. Especially for the hips kibble for the bot mode.
