I’m curious when we’ll learn more about 2022 for Bayverse Studio Series, from rumors it seems to be like this year with not a lot of releases, but there’s ones I’m really excited about if they pan out (DOTM and High Octane Bees, Evasion Prime)

I believe a new mold of TLK Megatron is slated for 2022.

Given how good both the TLK voyager and leader were, I'd be interested to see how they could improve on the design.
As for Breakaway, they possibility of a new figure is definitely exciting. The RotF deluxe is good, but a bit fiddly at times, so it'll be cool to see what they'll do at a bigger size.

That's how I feel about a LOT of TLK line, well at least the Deluxes, Voyagers, and Leaders. They were pretty much Proto SS. I know new toys would be nice, but I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority of them are just the same toys from 2017, with new paint apps.

For TLK Megatron, it depends on which size class they go with. The voyager was solid all around. The Leader is a pretty meh mold and could use an update.

Emerje wrote:I was never a big fan of the Breakaway mold, just don't like the looks of it, but if it selling well guaranteed them making a new Wreckage figure I'd buy two! But it would have to be based on the Wreckage toy, not the concept art. Voyager would be nice, too.

While I liked the deluxe and would welcome another new good figure, part of me is like WTF Hasbro? There are characters from the actual movies with actual screen time that are still waiting on toys. But it looks like they will have to keep waiting until all the SS86 stuff is out of the way, and all the characters that appear in the first 3 minutes of the Bee movie are also out of the way. And now on top of that, they will have to share the very few slots left open with whatever toys are coming from the new movie.
Wolfman Jake wrote:For the "Transformers Legacy" line coming up in 2022, what are non-G1 fans hoping for with some toe-dipping into other Transformers franchises? For me, I'm hoping that the "Generations" aesthetic remains largely the same. For instance, I want the same level of detail in sculpting and capturing the screen accuracy of characters like Side Burn (RID '01), Hot Shot (Armada), Knock Out (Prime), and Strongarm (RID '15) that we've been getting with the War for Cybertron Trilogy. I want to be able to add these break-out characters from other Transformers universe into the expanded universe of my collection, which right now is mostly G1 and Beast Wars figures from the past few years. I realize not every iteration of Transformers really lends itself to this idea, particularly with the rather uniquely stylized Transformers: Animated, but recent "experiments" like retroactively making live-action movie Barricade into a G1 character, using Smokescreen as the basis for a retool/repaint, is the kind of inspiration from Hasbro and Takara that I want to see more of. Not all of them need to have a G1 character model upon which to base their "retrofitted" look either. It just happened to work well for Barricade, but perhaps a "G1 version" of Bulkhead could be its own design and alt mode apart from any other previous G1 character, like a big SWAT vehicle, or a military truck like live-action Hound.

His artwork makes him look really cool. The toy, not so much.
