See, Cyberpath?! Now 'densh is gonna get one!! Which is ok, he's a good dude.Ironhidensh wrote:****, that is pretty damn tempting.
itscramtastic wrote:Why, Cyberpath?! Why you post the deal so now I can't buy it with Christmas money in a week as it will probably be sold out?! WHY CYBERPATH?!
Yes they are. My MP Sideswipe is a pretty good KO, but the panels don't line up very well in alt-mode, but outside of that he's damn good and compares very well to the real deal. Oh his legs came assembled on the wrong side, but was an easy fix. Cobo got a pretty bad copy of his Sideswipe though and I've seen stories all over the place when it comes to QC. Same with Sunstreaker. I also have a "KO MP Tracks" that cannot be distinguished from the real deal, oddly suspiciously so. Do your research first.Ironhidensh wrote:william-james88 wrote:I am out for G1 molds (already was) but will keep supporting BW MPs. And Ironhidensh, if the KO sunstreaker is anything to go by, the KO altrernative might be very poor. So it would be an all or nothing (as in we experience the real thing or we dont experience the mold at all).
Yeah, KO's can be hit or miss. The MPM Prime KO was vastly superiour to the official, but the MPM Barricade (which I bought by accident) was good, but not as good. I've heard nothing but praise for the Megatron 36 KO's, but I honestly never paid any attention to the Sunstreaker one. I know the Datsun KO is of equal quality, but the Sideswipe/redalert was lacking.
No one expects a double conehead.Cyberpath wrote:tempting, and the defect doesn't bother me.. buuut the figure looks clunky. Especially with that nosecone between his legs.
I don't even want to begin to speculate on the price of a new seeker moldItscramtastic, just wait for Takara to redo the jets with less kibble and more articulation (and more money )
No. That's the worst. [quote="Cyberpath"]itscramtastic, just wait for Takara to redo the jets with less kibble and more articulation (and more money ) I really don't neeeeeeeeed them, I'd be happy with Ramjet and Thrust as I have the G1's and Ramjet was hangin' with Starscream and Astrotrain (and Thrust) before Galvatron vaporized him.Cyberpath wrote:Better to have known and lost than never to have known at all..?

I kid, I kid - well sorta. I've been priced out of the MP game, but that's OK.
I'm with you on that, I could definitely go for less things to want.Cyberpath wrote:I have to say I'm pleased that they slowed down the pace again. My top 5 figures for 2016 were all Masterpieces(!) -- and 4/5 for 2017. That's kind of crazy, glad 2018 had none. (Waiting for August 2019 for the next one though.. )

Or all of the early wave Autobot toys from Energon.
But most of the Cybertron toys are good enough to still be satisfactory, and were already pretty darn show-accurate from the get go due to their CG models being so toy-accurate.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I ordered through A3U.ca after a chat. They said they wouldn't arrive plugged, and they themselves weren't plugging. So mine should arrive without any unsightly orangenessCobotron wrote:1. did you order your 36+ direct from Japan? I'm chomping at the bit to get that evil bastard in my hands, but chose the domestic route.
It was. It was a strange journey too. It wasn't anything I set out to do... I wasn't planning to take a toy break, or even buy a Switch (because I basically got it for free). But I wound up with one, fell in love and dove hard ignoring everything around me. I'm not sure if it was just a really good distraction, or if I was in the midst of toy fatigue, but the break did me some good it seems. I guess it helps having more than one interestCobotron wrote:2. Isn't the rejuvenating power of taking a break from bots awesome? Take a mental step away for a minute, and it all seems fresh again.
