his head scalp sucks..........

though he is cartoon accurate, hes way too chunky. Not takara finest moment in the mp line.

Not sure what the issue us with his scalp, but the sculpt looks good....JK
Looking forward to this guy and the surprise international shipping rate form AE. He looks big and heavy.

always loved ultra magnus.. as a toy he was the one I wanted most after grapple but perhaps I was also a bit disappointed with him due to the **** articulation. At least you could roll him about and had good interaction with the other vehicles. I never bothered with an original prime toy cos the white cab satiated my need to own that mould. The other big disappointment was that I looked forward to returning to play with him after a holiday abroad and found him seriously yellowed on my return.

So what next for the mp line? I was really enjoying the original ark brigade releases and hope they continue. Wish they'd work on some decepticons - galvatron needs love.

Watched only a few random parts, I like to leave something for when I get the figure. Magnus looks fantasitc!

The tail panel can fold and stay up like I'd hoped; thus not visible from the front.

Not from the movie, obviously, but there's a lot of good Ultra Magnus quotes from the IDW series. Bonus if they can get Robert Stack to voice those! :-D

I suppose you could cobble together audio from years of Unsolved Mysteries, but I'm not thinking that the Tyrest accord was ever mentioned along stories of ghostly hitchhikers

I agree that there's more I'd like to see before Unicron, but aren't we still on the 2 lg / 4 small MPs per year?
With Star Saber and Exhaust already in the pipe for 2015, we still have 1 lg and 3 small to go. I wouldn't be surprised if Megatron is one of them, with all the chatter about him recently... Has anyone heard any more of the rumors of Ironhide and Ratchet coming next, or was that just someone's wishful thinking?

BTW, TFTM has been so overquoted that its most-quoted ones have lost their luster (the "One shall stand..." one has been beaten savagely into a pulp, even).
