I'm generally not too keen on these features as you typically lose out in articulation and/or design to accommodate them. I think some discreet light piping would be just as good. Much like my TR Fort Max and MP Primal, I know I'll never use any of the battery powered features. In this case, especially if it's not David Kaye, I'm not interested.

MP-29, MP-32, and MP-36 all have electronics; MP-29 and -32 even have those electronics integrated directly into the figure. Granted, -36’s are housed in the fusion cannon, but all three of those figures have superb articulation. I’m not worried in the slightest about having electronic features in MP-43.

I’d also recommend frequently checking HLJ. Every few days or so they have some available. That’s how I got my preorder in the other week. So far I’ve seen them available three times in the last week and a half, sometime between 10PM and 4AM Eastern.

I know the cost for getting it through HLJ is about $12 or so more, but in my experience HLJ’s shipping fees are a lot less, and they’re a little faster. Maybe it’s changed though. It’s been a long while since I ordered from Robotkingdom.

The first Takara versions of the ROTF Leaders might have kept (at least the name-speaking parts of) the English voice clips. I know some of them were definitely changed for later Takara releases like the Movie the Best release of Leader class Optimus.

Thanks to Dengeki Hobby, we have new images of of the prototype Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron figure! The figure is on display in the same pose he was featured in when he was initially revealed, but with some minor stance differences, the most notable of which allows us to see that the Dino tail does in fact swing out of the way and enable you to make use of his left hand!

Also of note is the designation. Whereas we were under the assumption that he would be MP-43, here we have a card saying his in MP-44. This brings up 2 questions: 1) is this just a simple mistake? and 2) if it isn't, who is MP-43? We will leave that answer up to you to debate for now.

I think Takara all but confirmed they’re at least working on that mold in an interview about Sunstreaker.

While I would be very pleasantly surprised, I would nonetheless be very surprised. He only had two hands in two scenes during the entirety of season 1. And neither of those scenes were in this body.

If it did, it would explain why the T-Rex head splits in the middle. I assume it does because of the obvious seam in the middle. Otherwise, there's no point in it being there like MP-10's crotch hole

The seam could be there due to the head halves being two separate pieces screwed or pinned together if the head had to be assembled that way to accommodate any internal gimmick that might have been built into it.

Indeed. Although I thought it was just a prototype seam, perhaps its significance is demonstrating the inclusion of the (show) missile/(toy) water gun "tongue"?
