Ah that makes sense. At first I thought they were trying to give us the look he had when we see him in the first episode, which obviously doesnt work with that giant T-Rex head. But now I see what the point was. I hope those removeable pieces still latch on well and we dont have another Raideen from SOC scenario.

What was the problem with Raideen?
He also has a removeable backpack that you need to achieve his alt mode but it does not stay on securely.
