Also, who said the camo has to be useful? Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Thrust, Sunstorm... none of them are making any effort to camouflage themselves.

I have a love hate relationship with TRU as most people do. I will attempt an order on 7/18 hoping that it is Eastern time and I only have to stay up until 11 to try to get one. I wonder if they will enforce a one per customer policy...would hope that if they do we would know beforehand. My brick and mortar is infamous to say the least. I had more trouble getting Rodimus and Grimlock than Prime. But Prime rolled in slow and I got one out of the 6 cases that came in. Then all of a sudden there were 8 cases stacked on the top shelf that sat there unopened. Then of course there was a buy one get one half off deal and the boxes mysteriously dissappeared :-?

. I complained but got nowhere...then magically the boxes reappeared after the sale was over :shock:

!! I would have loved to pick up another two so I could display two in different modes and keep one in box. Lately I cannot find anything at my TRU other than Grimwing last week. The Dark of The Moon crap is clogging the shelves and I heard the last two Hasbro reps for our area had been fired...sheesh wonder why. I never see a rep anymore. >:oP

They've removed the little green check mark that used to be next to "Available in Stores". I hope that's because they realized it was premature to say that since it's not in stores yet, and that they didn't change it because they decided it's never going to be in stores.

I'm sure the stores are just sick of people calling them to see if they have it and decided to get that removed so they don't have to get someone just to man the phones....

I managed to slip an order in for Soundwave at about 4:30 AM Central time, then placed a second order for Acid Storm later in the morning. Both are currently listed as "item located in stock" when I check my order status.

Update: Both have shipped! Scheduled for delivery on Thursday.

If you mean from toys r us pretty crappy in a box barely big enough to hold the package with one air bag and the tape was barely on closing the box its a good thing I wasn't needing a perfect package for colector grade

That's good to know but I meent how was soundwave and his cassettes packaged, like what modes there in.

Soundwave was in bot mode and all the cassettes were in cassette modes in their cases I'm pissed off though cause my laserbeak is already broke the fin on his jetpack was really tight when transforming and snapped off if it was buzzsaw I wouldn't care cause my plan for him was to leave him in Soundwaves chest and put laserbeak on his ARM maybe when they get more in stock I will try to exchange it

That issue is apparently endemic to that mold. It's been pretty well known about on the Takara version.

That sucks to hear about laserbeak. It's good that I now know about that problem because I never heard of it before.

Yeah, having had the takara ones for months, my word to the wise on the MP cassettes is to be careful as hell. If you try to force anything or move anything too quickly, you're gonna be stuck with paint damage, or worse. They are not meant to be played with over and over, unfortunately.

Well, there was a package in the mail today, so now Megatron and Starscream have some new friends...

Annoyingly, Ravage's head was upside down! I was able to fix it... After hammering out two pins, flipping some parts around, hammering the pins back in, trimming a bit of plastic around a still upside down but inaccessible joint so that it would bend in the correct direction, and filling in some paint now missing (because of that necessary trimming) with the use of a silver Sharpie... So yeah, that sucked. But that was the only issue I can see so far.
