Did the same and saved on both. Better deals on Amazon Japan even with customs added to the final cost to ship. Helps that the Yen has fallen 10% in the last year too.
Yup. Much better deals.
Love the G1 JPN packaging with styrofoam too. So miss that.
Being a fan of both Transformers and Power Rangers allowed that good feeling to persist all the way into the 2000s, since Bandai of America continued to use that styrofoam packaging for their Deluxe transforming Megazord toys as late as then.Overcracker wrote:Dino-Snarl wrote:Overcracker wrote:Dino-Snarl wrote:

So true. Such a hit of nostalgia there to see the environmentally unfriendly styrofoam tray in there. It was like I was 8 at Christmas time all over again for a split second.

The episode that introduced Skyfire?
Got a timestamp? Because I have the impression that it's a "blink or you'll miss it" moment.

Well, that must have been nice.

It apparently is real. Saw it on another forum as well.
Announcement day is May 8th so, will need to wait till then for full confirmation though.
With that said, not sure I want to may $65 bucks for them like with Prime though.

Depending on the price I could see them getting a lot of milage out of them. I'd personally love some chromed out G2 repaints, but that might be outside the scope of Missing Link and its G1 mission.
My fingers are crossed that these end up around $25-$30 USD considering how Prime's prices ended up. Doubt I'd buy them from Amazon Japan since the shipping price would probably be $20+, save that and go with Hasbro, I can't imagine their final price would be more than importing.
