The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. Amazing! But a bit inconsistent. The Darkwings bros refer to their transtectors as "Darkwing" and "Dreadwind", and refer to their subgroup as "Powermasters", which are all U.S. names. But, they refer to a certain Pretender as "Blood", a Japanese name. The U.S. name would be "Bomb-Burst". Why the blending of names?

And no, I didn't overlook the uses of the Japanese names "Ginrai", "Giga", and "Devil Z", cuz those are fine, since Ginrai isn't Optimus Prime and the other two don't have U.S. names.
