Transformers Official Final Movie Poster Released
It seems that the one-page comic-book advertissement for the Transformers Movie as reported earlier here, is indeed the final movie poster for the film, as confirmed by Superherohype.com, and movie poster database IMPawards.com

this seems like the dvd cover or a book cover or something....not a theatrical poster....but like thats gonna affect my decision to see it so who cares really ...i mean dvds rarely use theatrical posters anyway so doubt we'll be seeing this again..lol

Why does the Autobot symbol have a hand now?

Nice one, Blozor!
I think this poster looks overly action-movie. The one with the planet make it look more scifi, you know, 'we are being watched' or something.
Wrong, Omega. It's the Autobot symbol. The one they've been using since the old 'Planet' poster.

You remember tose colectible blockdangler thingies a wile back?
That "Autobot" figuer, I'm starting to think it's going to have an aparence in the movie! I mean it can't be just an coinsadence that ther's a colectible and a movie poster showing it!

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

i dont think that's anybody's eye...i mean for one it cant be a decepticon since its blue....and it cant be prime because prime has some sorta eyelid thing going and that doesnt.....
i think its just a generic eye made for the posters....although as many pointed last year, it does seem to be the autobot symbol from the outside

This is an odd poster. The eye over the planet looked much better and conveyed the sense of threat that is implied by the film's tagline. This reminds me of cartoon He-Man punching the camera, or a Van Damme cover.

Could be better. The cardboard thing at the movies is better.

This poster is just bloody awful.
It's so.... bland and uninspiring. They should have just used the Prime/Megs profile with the humans in the middle, that poster had life. This one looks like it's been dead for years.

That poster is more of 'I'm going to rape you tonight' rather than 'We are watching/among you.'

I like this poster. I just wish they would put that regular looking robot hand on some of the actual desings instead of the pincers, tweezers, and other brick-a-brack that we're getting.
I swear, I think I even saw one of these guys with a hair bruch for a thumb!

Vector Prime, is that you??Blozor wrote:Why does the Autobot symbol have a hand now?

Seriously, though...that's no movie bot....sure as hell is not Megatron, whoever said it was....that's just the Autobot symbol with an eye in it, as was determined when the same design was used for the eye over Earth poster was made.
Anyway, IMHO it's boring. I liked the Prime/Megs Protect/Destroy posters better.
