It’s teally not that awesome. It’s kind of the worst proportioned and stable figure out them all and QC issues vary from fine to wtf
From all reports, Shuttler didn't have any of the QC issues Blast Off had, but that could have been in part due to the retooling done to give Shuttler his backwards torso transformation compared to Blast Off.Lore Keeper wrote:Randomhero wrote:Clockwork Animations wrote:YAAAAAAY now I don't have to buy the UW Bruticus to get that awesome Blast Off.

I didn't have any qc issues with Shuttler, but maybe I was just lucky.

The torso is turned 180 and the arms are switched. But there was a minor functional retool to make the hinge the head is on less prone to popping out. Such tweaks are usually permanent, so we can safely expect Hasbro Shuttle Blast Off to feature it.
Question is, what would anyone do with Jet Blast Off?

Randomhero wrote:Yeah and Strafe had some of the same QC issues blastoff had. Trust me I own both. If it’s real and they’re gonna use the takara mold the real question is which mold is takara lending out? The old one or the modified one that fixed issues.

Did you steal my idea, or did we just think exactly the same . I love my unique outlier combiners, oh wait, its not exactly the same, my Hasbro Blastoff is an arm, as is Hasbro Vortex. Offroad and BC Terrorsaur are the legs to my Grand Scourge ..oh and TAV Runabout is the 6th member.

Speaking of which. I got Slash yesterday. I challenged my son to come up with something, but there's really not much you can do with her. I may wait until I have Grimlock in hand to see if there is any backpack (ala wreck-gar to Skylynx) fan modding that can be accomplished, otherwise, its just using the tail as a "gun handle" in the hand of a combiner (think Shuffler), it really doesn't look good, but I haven't seen anything else...yet...

Because it’s never been the intention with POTP legend class. They interact with prime masters and that’s it. I don’t understand why some are so adamant to try and shoehorn figures into something when it’s not the intention.
It’s so frustrating when the line was shown and people getting mad that they don’t know how slash merges with the others or why it’s not advertised is baffling. Hasbro never said it would!

I'm fully aware it was never the intention. It was also never the intention for CW Bombshell to be a gun, or TAV Override to be a Bow etc... but hey, I'm having fun with it.
Why are you frustrated that people play with their toys differently

The Enigma of Combination
Probably not. The first one only vaguely looks like a Matrix, I feel like Hasbro would have gone for something a little more on the nose and easily recognized as a Matrix. The second one I would think it was an Enigma it would have five points to represent the five members instead of six.
I'm probably wrong, but I'm going with the top being Primus and the bottom being Unicron. The first one reminds me of the circular formations on the surface of Cybertron while the second reminds me of Unicron's planet jaws as seen in G1 (not the clamping jaws from the Unicron Trilogy).

The CW Combiners were all 6 members. Plus that is the symbol that is actually on the enigmas that come with the PotP Voyagers.

The forelegs especially look pretty derpy, and the rear legs don't 'transform' enough to look convincing. Well, I'll get it regardless because I really want an Abominus, but still...

Not a remold just shared design.
