Well I now have all of Wave 1 of PotP, save for the Leaders. Volcanicus is a lot better in person. He is just not photogenic. The Dino mode of Grimlock is a bit awkward, but the rest works out pretty well actually. Fwiw, Jazz is a good arm for Volcanicus, as his arm mode makes it seem like the shoulder isn't as wide. Oh, and the spare arms are necessary to support the shoulders.

All in all I am satisfied with this interpretation of Grimlock. Yes, they could have done better in some areas, but once you set Volcanicus up correctly, he looks pretty mean. Now about the missing weapons... who is going to step up and give us all the dinobot's swords/guns that were not included? PE maybe?

I'm actually like the look of Grimlock with more photos and reviews. He's the voyager I'm most excited for at this point.

Starscream still look pretty good in bot mode to me. I'm also glad to have the voyager. Jet mode is kinda crummy, but I like the stylized robot mode.

I'm really hoping Flywheels happens like Battletrap is about to. And I want to see his figure dangit!

Everyone is asking for Flywheels and I'm just sitting here hoping for Slamdance and Squawkbox.

Legout and Decibel would be good choices given we have the Dinobots

Idk what you're talking about those two are masterpieces

but yeah they suck and need updates badly

Technically Doubledealer's only alt mode is the missile truck. The robot is his Autubot mode and the bird is his Decepticon mode. Also the only reason why this is working with Battletrap is because they basically made him like a Landcross member giving each of his vehicle modes their own bot modes as well.

Now that I write that I have to wonder if Battleslash can be retooled into Tackle and maybe Roadtrap into Mach?

SDCC revealed there is a combiner mode for Dreadwind & Blackwing despite being both Deluxe and serving as combiner limbs. Has there been any evidence that the *duocon* Legends class figures can even combine?

The thought of a Landcross made from 6 Legends class members never even crossed my mind, but it is an interesting idea....Still I'd like to see any future Combiners be the same size scale as the current ones. It would be a nice chance for some that did not get their proper due originally to be done right this time around, if its even in the plan.

These little guys are simple, but super cool and fun. I've been all into the Diaclone reboot as of late and their dope little piloted mech suits. These feel like more of that same kind of fun. I'm sure some cross pollination play between the two are in store.

It was with Cloudburst & Micronus, but if instances like this keep popping up it's worth investigating, no?

Wow! Those power of the primes versions of the pretender shells are small! I never realized how small they actually are until seeing that comparison picture. I own Submarauder and Skullgrin, so that shot put things into perspective for me.
