Worth noting is that this set leads credence to there being 15 Prime Masters instead of 12. The second from the right (which I've dubbed "Matrix Prime" for now) is one of the 3 unknown symbols.

Based on these images, I'm hoping that plastic bit in the back of the throne can hold all the prime masters and spin around so we can play the Cybertron version of "Wheel of Fortune", Wheel of Power ;)^

Maybe that's how they got all those random collector cards that comes with all the figures, sit in the throne, give it a spin and your card prints out of the bottom

No...I got mostly Takara Titans Return.
As for Power of the Primes...I got a few deluxes.
I'm still hoping that, sometime in the future, Takara reissues the Dinobots as a Cartoon Accurate Unite Warriors set without stickers.
Same with Abominus.

You can see sketches of the other prime contenders on the sides of the throne - Shockwave, Arcee, Hound, and Star Saber are the ones I could identify.

Also, Starscream must be really jealous that someone else got a throne and crown :lol:

So...I got off my own throne not too long ago (sorry somebody had to do it :lol:

), to see this news. I really hope this is not the only way Hasbro intends to release the last 3/4 Prime masters, because I have no intention of purchasing this. I'm really hoping they still get single releases, that would be pretty messed up on the part of Hasbro if they did that.

Wasn't that in the DLC? Beast Wars III: Tyranny of King Primal?

I'd be very tempted to put a bunch of Titan Masters on the scepter and in the 'halo' and then sit Elita-1 on that throne.

Wouldn't be the first time they did that. They did something similar with TR Wingspan and Cloudraker and the Titan Masters of Ultra Magnus and Scorponok after their initial plans for those figures' releases got scrapped.

Sure, however I believe both of those will/would be arguably easier to obtain. before TRU.com went down, they still had Grotusque's in stock for $19.99, and Arcee before that. Assuming this will be a SDCC exclusive it will probably cost something on the order of $60-$70, and will no doubt sell out quickly on HTS soon after, possibly never to be offered again.

I'm not saying its a deal breaker, I mean I'm ok with having only 9 Prime Masters (8 with Pretender Armors), in my collection, but it would have been cool for Hasbro to see something through. I mean we got 15 Titan Masters (regular retail releases) other than the 4 exclusives in TR, but yet again, this just smacks of a line that was cut short mid-way through.

If this is the only release of the last 3 PM's, I do NOT consider this as Hasbro "releasing all the Primes", because it will ultimately be available to only a very small portion of the fandom.

That set is a thing of beauty. I'm so glad I didn't pre-order Optimal Optimus because I'm definitely getting this! It's fantastic that he comes with the three missing Prime Masters, though it would seem I will have to get Predaking for Onyx (sigh), or just hope the Ebay prices for Onyx on his own aren't too crazy.

I can soooooo see someone firing up the 3D scanner and making an actual 3D-printed throne using this as a base. Heck, a 3P couLd make a retail version and make some coin. Just sayin'. :-D
