Honestly? I'm not going to complain too much about the Thirteen being relegated to "Glorified energon stars that channel their power", considering what all we did get, the gaps in the "New toys of the G1 cast" ranks that got filled. And since the designs exist, there's always hope they'll be revived someday. It happens all the time -
Animated Blurr was based on the toy design for Cheetor from the scrapped
Transtech toyline, Animated Shockwave and
Armada Megatron draw heavily on Transtech Megatron's design, ROTF Bludgeon was originally designed by Aaron Archer as a Unicron Trilogy toy...

ok, probably a dumb question, but in the top image, since those 5 figures exist, is that a viable combination? I don't have any PotP Leader's, so I can't test it myself. Too bad, that combined vehicle mode would have made me want to purchase the Leader Class. I guess I can just say I just saved myself $250.00
Sabr- Always wanted Big Powered and the Battlestar Combiner, sadly the furthest I ever got was just owning the encore Star Convoy released around 2005/06.
It is not. That combo would require Roddy having Combiner Wars ports on the sides and top of his altmode, and also brackets for Starscream.
As for the Triple Combination Battlestar Attack (Yes, that's really the name)... It has a spiritual successor in the form of Armada Optimus (who is basically Powermaster Optimus meets Star Convoy meets Laser Optimus Prime), Overload, and Jetfire all linked up in vehicle mode. Overload is towed behind Optimus as a second trailer much like Grandus is towed by Star Convoy, and Jetfire sits on Overload just as Sky Garry sits on Grandus
