POTP Voyagers have "Bucklers" for Prime Masters. Besides, those are way too big for combiner ports. I heard this on tfwiki, which so far has been very reliable to me.william-james88 wrote:Decepticon Stryker wrote:Bad news, Starscream has been confirmed to not be a combiner. The arms for storing Prime Masters.
Can you please show the quote where someone from hasbro says he is not a combiner? if there is no quote form hasbro then its not a confirmation.
Plus, you forget that he has connector ports below his feet as can be seen in this pic:
I hope you are ready for the condescending replies about how that's not a reliable source by the resident know-it-alls.Decepticon Stryker wrote:I heard this on tfwiki, which so far has been very reliable to me.

Just look at Silverbolt's arms. They have combiner ports in them, and aren't insanely massive. And, we probably would have seen the gestalt or torso at the showcase.MadProject wrote:Decepticon Stryker wrote:POTP Voyagers have "Bucklers" for Prime Masters. naaah, considering that he's a voyager figure, those doesn't look too big for me.

I'm not sure about this one if its a Pass or not, since the TR Hot Rod looks more better anyways.
Kurona wrote:I much prefer TR Hot Rod personally, but this one does look like a much more direct update to the original G1 toy's blockiness and general design themes. Just means we have two fantastic options

Nope. What looks like Skullgrin is actually a "Prime Master" called "Liege Maximo" that hides in a "Decoy Suit".
So our hopes for a modern Pretender line is this ... yay.
I wonder what will be the gimmick here though.
Still, I do hope they'll make the Evil Trio this way.
Kurona wrote:The standard, original 1988 Pretender lineup - disregarding the Pretender Beasts and Pretender Vehicles - was made up of 12 individuals, including Skullgrin. Given that Skullgrin's been used for one of the Primes, and given there's 12 Pretenders and 12 Primes (bar Optimus uuuuuuuuuugggggggghhhhhh), I think it's a fair assumption those will be lining up with each other.

I could see either Bludgeon or Bugly being the Fallen's Decoy suit, as a sneaky homage to War Within. As for the others I have no idea, perhaps give Bomb-Burst to Onyx Prime because he's a winged beast?
