It's double funny because we finally had a Bludgeon whose name was meaningful, as his weapon mode is a form of japanese club called a Kanabo. Meaning he could finally, you know, bludgeon people to death.
Not too many people are getting the Kanabo thing. Worst part is the little figure can't hold the club right

First, both the subweapon and the Decoy Armor's weapon mode are actually designed to work both as a gun and as a Kanabo depending on which angle and facing it's held at. Same deal as Cybertron Snarl's tail weapon (A sword one way, a gun the other). Second, what do you mean the little figure can't hold the club right? Just stick the nub on the squared part into the hand! I can supply a photo if needed.
I do have to say that the kanabo thing would probably be clearer to people if there was paint on the studs.
I think the suit's weapon mode, held as a kanabo, would make a good weapon both for Abominus and for Volcanicus, considering.

It's not that weird, actually. Rippersnapper is repacked in Deluxe Wave 4, so there have been plenty of opportunities to get him already. Kicking him out to bump up distribution of Moonracer an Darkwing, who were originally both short packed at one per case, makes a lot of sense.

1. The shoulder missassembling: I disassembled his left shoulder (robot mode), turned the shoulder 180 degress and screwed everything back together. But somehow it doesn't fit as it's supposed to be. In the image below you can see on the left that the upper gap of the joint is bigger than the lower one and on the right side they are both equal. I don't know what's the problem and I even had a gap on the other side of the joint because the two gray parts that encase the joint didn't meet togther until I just forced them by tightening the screw over its actual resistance maximum (I hopt that's the correct way to say that in English or you can at least get what I mean).
2. The taps on little Optimus Primal's insides of his knees: The horizontal ones peg into the big gorilla's heels but what do the vertical onesI couldn't find any use for them in any mode.
3. What's pretty weird is that the orange plastic of the gorilla's is is a bit more reddish and neon colorish than the one of his torso. That doesn't make any sense to me.

You misunderstand me, then. By "square part" I meant the other end of the weapon, the end that would be the muzzle when it's held as a gun. I thought that would be clear because the hinge end where the common grip point is... That has too much of a rounded edge for me to really think of it as a square part ^^;
The suit's weapon mode is definitely as much a gun as it is a club. In fact due to the proportion of the parts it feels like more of a gun, but the kanabo detailing still lets it work fine as a club.
And Solus/Octupunch's weapon mode is also a gun. It's a speargun, specifically.

Huh... That's really weird... My Optimal Optimus (the SDCC one, not the general release version. Haven't found that one yet) had a similar issue where the shoulder didn't go up enough, but unscrewing the shoulder and rotating it fixed it. I think maybe that could be a QC issue if that didn't fix it

Oh I've tried that end, it's tapered and just big enough that I'd be concerned about stressing the peg hole. I thought Octopunch was an ax of some sort.
