Kurona wrote:Personally I think dismissing Darkwing and Dreadwind as Aerialbot repaints prevents you from seeing the positives they do have and realising they do actually look like decent figures, but hey, I guess positivity just isn't fashionable these days.
Rodimus Prime wrote:You can't make me disappear. I am not feet.
ExciKaiser wrote:Seriously, starting a new line with 4 years old repaints.. they learned nothing from G2 ?
ExciKaiser wrote:Overcracker wrote:And Starscream seems to me has some other feature in that bulky exterior we have not been told about. There's got to be a reason for that.
He's a combiner wars torso. It's not even a secret. (it could have been if they didn't show these 30th repaint of aerialbot limbs).
And it'll probably transform the exact same way as Silverbolt, I hope you weren't tired of the 28 already existing remolds of this torso.
Sigma Magnus wrote:...I'm not judging this line yet. I mean, hell, even Starscream is growing on me. Stuff looks a lot better in-hand in more natural and organic poses...and let's face it, conventions and renders can give us some pretty bad poses. But so far, I like what I see. I don't care about Roddy's backpack either, because I don't display my figures facing the wall.

Don't worry, you're not completely alone. I like 'em too!...could be because I don't have any variations of the Aerialbots. But still, I like them and I'll probably be adding them to my shelf.
To be honest, Dreadwind and Darkwing Blackwing are the two figures out of all these reveals that I feel the most positive about.Sigma Magnus wrote:Kurona wrote:Personally I think dismissing Darkwing and Dreadwind as Aerialbot repaints prevents you from seeing the positives they do have and realising they do actually look like decent figures, but hey, I guess positivity just isn't fashionable these days.

But what's up with his proportions? He looks a little weird. Maybe it's because of some new gimmick?

Kurona wrote:Mmmm, know what? For all the grievances I have with him, that's a very lovely noggin sculpt on Screamer's shoulders.

That's gotta be mistransformed. His head should at least be able to go somewhere out of sight. Otherwise that's more of a hang-glider than a jet. . .
. . . Although the thought of Starscream being stuck in robot mode and resorting to a hang glider for transportation is pretty funny to me
ScottyP wrote:Can't wait for that Starscream to be Skyquake. Turbomaster and Predator combiners, let's do this.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Dagon wrote:Boy, that Rodimus Prime got way less appealing with that underside shot. I still like the idea, but he's pretty....Star Convoy-ish.

Indeed, this looks almost like "Pretender" Roddy, with the truck just being an outer shell. It's almost as badly simple as the G1 toy, just with the base hanging off of the back instead...
But, who am I kidding. I'll likely get all of these too....
