I passed on G2 Fruiticus because 1) Lazy Hasbro forgot the G2 Symbols & 2) No G2 Defensor to go with him. If neither of those things bothers you however (which I'm sure most people don't care about) then go for it.

I guess there is always reprolabels, right?. One other option I've considered for my combiner collection (currently consisting of only G2 Menasor with an upgrade kit) is G2 Superion to oppose him and even things out a bit. Just weighting my options here should I decide to raid those hobby stores which have CW stuff collecting dust in the back. Or I could just go with my original plan and wait for just Abominus....

Buuuuut we'd get a decent Minimus Ambus toy though...Given that none of the truck parts become crucial to Orion Pax's bot mode, he'd be an easy retool to the character. Plus he's a loadbearer, so him forming the core of a robot mode makes sense.

I don't know, I just really like this idea and I'd buy the **** out of a Minumus Ambus leader class figure.

Don't get me wrong it is your right to do so, it is your toy. But there is a small possibility that the Cybertronian letters could mean something different then everyone has chosen to believe. Also if the "letters" bother you so much, why get Jazz now, wait to see if Hasbro changes it, and leave that one for a collector (like me ) that would want it for the letters.
Is not buying the figure supporting the slogan? If you are so against MAGA, stand up and don't buy it....just saying.
Also it was mentioned that the letters MAGA, could stand for the name Rodimus said during the first episode of "The Five Faces Of Darkness", when Jazz won that race. Now the name is differently spelled on the TFwiki, but for years fans thought he said, "MAGA Spraanga". And now to the point.....
We were told not to talk about this subject anymore, I was BANNED for a week because I broke the "rules" and had a Pro-MAGA opinion (which does not mean I support Trump, let me make this clear, because I don't).
So why is it that people that are "Anti-MAGA" still allowed to make glib remarks? Yet the ones on the other-side of the argument are told to be quiet, and forced not to give a counter or ELSE"?

Pull your head in, because if this is how you come back after a week long time out, the next time will be much more longer.

Starscream just looks awesome Abit clunky but still a good figure over all

Also my first post about POTP-Jazz was more like an commentary towards how PC the world has become, and was not aimed at anyone personally. Yes I used some "insulting" statements, but they were used to make a point.
As for the above comment "moron", I will admit I double thought the statement, but did not known how else to convey what I was thinking. I am not really calling the guy a moron personally, but just making "again "a point on how I saw this whole Jazz debacle turning out, and how people were going to react to it.
If he took it personally I really do apologize.
But as for you Burn, you seem to have a bone to pick with me, like some grudge, which is awesome because I find it as a compliment.

I’ve been checking boxes and it looks to me like most of the Jazzes I find now are corrected.

I find that extremely difficult to believe, since that would require Hasbro to recall most or all of the POTP deluxes out there and send out replacements in the, what, two weeks since this was brought to light?

You're just pushing your bias of disliking season 3 as some excuse to say 'its not the same show' as G1. That movie and the third season are very much part the same toyline, same show and were made by the same people. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its not part of the G1 lineup. That is about as valid as me saying, for example, that Beast Hunters is not 'really' part of Transformers Prime or that anything from Age of Extinction is not 'really' part of the Bayverse. This is not the same as Beast Machine, for example, which had a different staff and was a soft reboot on the story and basically had little understanding of what came before.

Generation 1 functionally ended, brand-wise, when Generation 2 was a term coined for their first attempt a reboot which is where we got the term G1 to begin with. Now I'm sure we could argue that the japanese line and post cartoon and 'euro G1' may very well constitute a G1.5 so to speak which I'd very much agree.

Unless your excuse for saying season 3 isn't G1 is that its when they started making their own toy designs rather than just importing Diaclone. That would certainly be a more valid statement than simply saying 'G1 ended because I didn't like that part of it'.

Edit: I should point out that, as angry as this make you, I do consider Beast Wars to be part of G1. But not being G1. There is a difference. They are very much set within the same universe and continuity but these series and toylines are separated by a time gap but in universe and out universe.

Maybe the comics skewed this but I tend to view G2 not as a reboot but as the last continuation of the older continuities. Similar to New Adventures He-Man or what Cyber-Samurai Turtles, Lord Dregg, and Armagon represented to the Archie and Fred Wolf era of TMNT. Or late run DIC G.I.Joe.

That was back when the idea still existed that, rather than a return to the status quo, we might see the characters continue to be spun out in wild directions.

Late G2 contains, IMHO, the most radically different takes on Optimus and Megatron, for example. And no reboot has ever pushed beyond those limits, aside from the fringes of the Bayverse. We've had Megatron as a jet and a tank again. We've had Optimus Prime as a military tanker again.

In my mind, G2 is the Kingdom Come, the Dark Knight Returns, the neon ragnarok of all Transformers G1 continuities. Any "last Transformers story", for me, involves Transformers dosing up on Forestonite and taking on garish war paint color schemes for their final battle.

Pretty sure that was the basis of the design. And I like it! I've been thinking I may combine this Starscream with Dreadwind, Darkwing, a rogue 3-wheeled Dragstrip missing all his accessories I got at a flea market in June, and some 4th con later in the line to make a combiner. His alt mode is really the only thing that lets me down, it's lazy. But I adore his bot mode

Why? Starscream's been dead in the Movie universe since Dark of the Moon. Granted his head made a cameo in Last Knight, but I'm not sure what purpose it would serve to reference Movie Starscream in this line.

It may just be coincidental even if it is quite similar.

Same way the designs of some recent cartoons are done: there is a reference point for them to use. Movie Scream actually has gotten a fair bit of attention, such as (it was confirmed deliberate) his face being Prime Starscream's chest. The design was a hit with some (like me), and they keep using it. It's a case of a movie design sort of crossing over into generations without being a movie toy.

I'm out of town on a business trip and figured I would take a peek at the Target near my hotel just in case they had anything new, like PotP. I found, the opposite. CW Leader Skywarp.

I swear, CW Leader Skywarp is like glitter. Just when you think it has all been cleaned up/out, you find another piece.

After the initial looks we got in the reviews for both Swoop and Slug from the new Transformers: Power of the Primes toyline, YouTube user Kevin Liu has finally uploaded a video review of the last of the currently available figures from the first wave - though the Leader class Optimus Prime was also reviews, here: Voyager class Grimlock!

The Dinobot leader is shown off in the embedded video below in both robot and dinosaur mode, including a lot of junk in the trunk department - or tail, if you will - and the new addition for the line in the torso mode for Dinobot combiner Volcanicus. Also shown are the the other dino-buddies, Slash included, the Prime Master armor and compatibility, and some size comparisons. Check it out!

I'm still not sure that the lower waist is transformed correctly. There seem to be some pegs that are sticking up that look suspicious. I am a little bummed the shoulders are out as far as they are... wonder if there's a way to pinch them in closer. Also... why has nobody clipped the fists on to the side of the chest to help fill it out (like seen @ Hascon)?

They're shown sticking out like that on the gray model as well so that does seem to be the right way. The tabs are probably used in T-rex mode.

I'm guessing they aren't filling in the torso because they don't have the spare fists from the other two Dinobots. But then, they should just use Swoop and Slag's fists in the torso to demonstrate and borrow HFGs from somewhere else as hands.

Grimlock looks nice. Can't wait to compare it in hand to the MP. And I think Slag and Swoop are great. Can't wait for the others. But imo that combined mode doesn't look nice at all.
