Who knows? It's been observed for a while now that there have been plenty of missed opportunities to black repaints that have been missed by Hasbro but still fully taken advantage of by Takara Tomy. There was a time when both companies were doing them in different ways, but now it's all TT. Either Warden doesn't like them or they're just content with us importing from TT. This is the same guy who's official stance on not celebrating Beast War's 20th anniversary was because TT was celebrating it and Hasbro didn't have to celebrate an anniversary on the anniversary (two years later they still haven't celebrated it). That was when we first realized Warden didn't like Beast Wars.

That said, an all-beast triple/quad/penta/hexa-changer would be one crazy figure. Like an RiD 2001 Megatron on acid.

That said, an all-beast triple/quad/penta/hexa-changer would be one crazy figure. Like an RiD 2001 Megatron on acid.

OK, finally found a decent way to discern whether or not Elita-1 is misassembled upon sighting her: the ridge on the hinge of the foot piece divides it into a narrow and wide side. The wide side is supposed to be on the outside of the leg.

And no, the Elita-1 I spotted was indeed misassembled.

Pretty ridiculous to create a backstory where there are 13 Primes, force all continuities into this backstory, create a toyline referencing this backstory directly, and releasing...8(?) Primes.

I'd like to see a full set of limbs for Elita-1 too.

The leak from last July showed off 3 full waves. There was a 4th deluxe wave shown (with new Deluxe Novastar, and 3 repack figures), and nothing else. Based on this, and the confirmation at NYTF that PotP will end in 2018 is where speculation that there are only 4 waves is coming from. But at the same time the development team said there is *more to come*.

A 9th PM (Onyx), was revealed as an exclusive to come with the Predaking set this Summer, though it has no Prime Armor. Whether or not a single release Onyx is in the plan, as well as the remaining 3 PM's, or anything else for that matter is currently unknown.

We also know of a Deluxe Wreck-Gar coming to Walgreens. Shuttle Blast-Off, Repugnus, and Counterpunch being released through HTS (assumed to be *May-Mayhem, but not confirmed yet)...after that, there is SDCC in July. Since there is no Botcon or Hascon, I assume this will be the next big news outlet, unless occasional leaks come out from other sources.

Again I'm assuming here, but Blast-Off holds no interest to me since I have the UW one (even though the head defect will most likely be fixed). Counterpunch will likely be the same deco as the TFCC one. If its completely new however, I may consider it. Repugnus is the one I'm most curious about since we know so little about it. A case could be argued either way that is could be a TR holdover, or a new PotP deluxe...hopefully we get some news soon either way.

So as far as potential exclusives, particularly items we have gotten leaked info for or have had other versions of (Takara but not Hasbro for instance), here is what we possibly could get for exclusives:

Blast Off - Leaked, Takara
Repugnus - Leaked
Counterpunch - Leaked, FunPub
Wreck-Gar - Leaked

4-Blade Vortex - Takara
Ratchet - Takara, BotCon
Medix - BotCon

Personally I think the 4 that are leaked are plenty of exclusives to get for this round, as far as individual released. My preference is to keep an even number of combiner limbs. More specifically, make the Decepticons evenly divisible by 4, and the Autobots can have 2 leftovers (God Bomber feet if need be).

I should add, here are how my leftover PotP Combiners are shaping up if the leaks are accurate:

Blast Off goes to Bruticus. Jet Blast Off (aka Take Off) goes with Mega Starscream.

Elita-Inf1nite gets Rook, Alpha Bravo, Moonracer, Novastar.

Firestormer gets Jazz, Wreck-Gar, Repugnus (assuming he's a retool of Rippersnapper), and Counterpunch.

Now all I need to do is track down a Grand Galvatron (or at least the limb bots) that isn't expensive to complete my Combiner groups.

I seriously dout we will see those last 3. And as for the *leaks*, they don't come from they come from other sources.

I like you however would very much like to have my combiners complete. The only problem is, based on the previous line all parties combined (CW, UW, Club & Con exclusives). I already have *perfect symmetry* for all of those. The new Blastoff is for all intents and purposes is a repeat for me. Counterpunch is again unknown. If it is the same mold as TFCC, then I'll have determined it to be a repeat. Repugnus (if it is a PotP limb), and Wreck Gar are the only potentially new bots for me, and that isn't quite enough to finish the 3 Voyagers that are incomplete.

What I meant was along these lines:

Blastoff was previously released by Takara. Blastoff has been leaked as an exclusive for this line.

Separate items, I was trying to be brief. Obviously I should have been a bit more descriptive.

Also...My son just sent a text, my family is as Target and they have wave 2 Deluxes. I told him to get Moonracer or Blackwing because they are the hardest to find (we already have Rippersnapper). I'll see if he is nice to his sister and gets Moonracer, or just wants to complete the duo of Dreadwind and Blackwing...

I came to a similar conclusion about how to spot the assembly error in package. However, I've yet to find a sample in the wild with the feet factory-assembled correctly. Similarly, I've never seen a Jazz with the "MAGA" cybertronian lettering removed either.

ok...so we just got Blackwing. Interesting that the side art packaging shows the combined jet mode rather than Combiner Starscream as Dreadwind did.

That's a nice picture, do all the other blackwings have the same art? I don't remember hearing about it before.

They should. The side art of the combiners has been ignored for the most part, hell Jazz has Elita-Infin1te's art without us realising it!

Can you clarify? Do you mean there is no official configuration for Elita-Infin1te? Because for a certainty, we DO have the toy released.... I think the point is, every deluxe for PotP up to this point, whether assigned to an official combiner or not, has shown the artwork for a combiner except for Blackwing.

Dreadwing still counts as a combiner, even if just a vehicle. Its officially a Duocon according to Blackwing's instruction, like Battletrap, though thanks to Battleslash and Roadtrap, the Duocon definition is now tentatively "A Decepticon Combiner, be it vehicular or robotic, made out of two fully transforming components".

And no, Elita-Infin1te, like the yet-unnamed Starscream and Inferno combiners, are still "incomplete", yet have their own art.

I just figured they all had their own art, because they, like Galvatronus & Optimus Maximus can combine with anyone, though to be sure, I prefer an official configuration.
