Okay so I work at a Kroger store in Lawrenceville, GA and this morning I spotted these Prime Masters in the seasonal section along with a bunch of other small/cheap toys. To my knowledge, these figures, especially wave 2, have not been seen at this chain before. As you can see they are priced at $6.99 apiece. I checked in the system and it appears we only got 12 in, which I'm assuming is a single case of figures. There were 10 actually on shelf, 4 each of Landline and Submarauder and one each of Skullgrin and Metalhawk. The UPCs are all marked as inactive so I don't believe we'll be getting any more, especially since Easter is this Sunday and the section will be changed over to Summer product about a week after that. I did not personally purchase any yet because our employee discount only applies to store brand items, so I'm going to see if they go on sale after Easter instead. I hope this helps somebody out there.

PS I can't add these as a sighting because Kroger is not on the list of stores to choose from.

Still no luck at moonracer. I really wish I could somehow communicate with my local target about their stock. With TRU gone I worry about the future of toy collecting. Maybe I am paranoid but seeing them constantly under stocked is not sitting right with me.

Especially their wrestling section - they just order too much of the unpopular series but at least with TF's they sell out and don't seem to shelfwarm too much.

You can always use the sightings page. That helps ppl know what is in their area and you can use the notes option to tell them about the Seasonal dept.

I will look into this to see if we can have that fixed.

I saw restock on wave2 voyagers, but no Prime Masters or Deluxes yet...I'm gonna miss TRU.

Yes, that's Combiner Hunter Chromia as the others said! The three Hunters get a lot of play in our house -- I think Novastar and Moonracer will get along great with 'em.

I just got all the bots to build Volcanicus. What's the best fan mode, without buying 3rd party addons? His torso is really bothering me. He is too skinny.

Grimlock has two holes in his chest that, at first sight, serve no purpose. They're actually for the two extra Hand Armors from the ones that from the legs. They can be used to "bulk up" the chest as shown here:

This past Friday, I scored a few more Power of the Primes figures on my want list. First, I finally found another case of Wave 2 Legends figures. This time they were at a Walmart, not Target, where I first spotted them. That first time, though, I only found two Tailgates, and both had terrible paint errors. This time, I found a nearly perfect Tailgate along with two each of Battleslash and Roadtrap. I wanted to be able to display both Battleslash and Roadtrap separately as well as their proper combined form of Battletrap. I gave Battletrap Titans Return "Skytread" to wield, since he comes with no weapons. Here's hoping a proper Flywheels is still in our future!



I also found a case of Wave 2 Deluxe figures at a Target. This was my first time seeing them in any non-Walmart store in the Twin Cities area. I was able to pick up another each of Moonracer and Darkwing. I like to get duplicates of most combiner figures so that I can have the individual members along with the combined form displayed simultaneously. With another Darkwing figure, I was able to complete my "Megascream" combiner, along with Dreadwind and Combiner Wars Off Road and Blast Off (A.K.A., "Take Off"). I like the results, but I would rather another Decepticon air vehicle character to be the fourth limb. Off Road just doesn't fit the theme with his ground-based truck mode.

There are almost no details regarding this newly revealed product aside from a photo. But this photo has been posted by Hasrbo's official Transformers account on the Wall, Russia's social media website. This is the very same place we first saw Power of the Primes Wreck Gar. This time, we have a post featuring Nemesis Prime emerging from the snow hoping Spring has finally come to Russia (Canada can sympathize). We see a black redeco of Transformers Power of the Primes Optimus Prime with a new head and new weapons. The weapons on his forearms are very reminiscent of the ones that came with Armada Nemesis Prime, which was the first Nemesis Prime we ever got, making this an homage to that toy.

All we know is that this must be exclusive since Hasbro already confirmed that there would be no new leader class toys in Power of the Primes Wave 4. And we also know it can't be a Toysrus exclusive. Wreck Gar was set to be a Walgreens exclusive, so it may be the same for Nemesis Prime, but nothing is confirmed about this toy aside from the fact that it exists.

Nah, it's close to it but look at the cheeks. Toxitron doesn't have those vents.

I've skipped this mould for now because it never felt right.. never quite sure who it wanted to be. The evolution gimmick reminded me too much of power master prime, the combined form was very MP-10 like... but f this guys come out for a decent price I'd get him. Not that I have any connection with the character - but in spite of the reasons for me not getting him, he seems like a fun version of prime and like many moulds, looks excellent in black.

I hope it's real, it looks nifty. Especially the wrist guns
