Back to Nemesis Prime, that sword does turn into a bird, I've spotted two sets of hinges: one at the end of the blade and another behind the bird head.

Kind of interested in getting a black Prime mold. Especially with that bird sword, kind of like that little guy.

Got Elita and Hungurr today. Not happy with the quality. Some stickers on elita were already floating around in the box when I took her out, no clue where they go. And Hun Gurr had one decently tight shoulder while the other was loose beyond belief. Will probably return both once the store gets more.

Dang! That's a shame, man! Mine were in, surprisingly, great shape. Got a little bit of Sticker peel on Hun-gurrr, but Elita-stickers were so good, I thought some of them were tampo for a minute.

Starscream and Rodimus, though... I was in the same boat as you with Starscream and Rodimus.

Sorry to hear that, Will! My Elita's stickers weren't perfect but stayed on....same with Hun-gurr, even though he's got floppy ankles in bot mode. Good thing he works best as a torso or in alt mode!

I'm loving the deluxes I picked up, though -- Blackwing looks cool with his partner, and Moonracer is gorgeous, backpack and all.

Had anyone entertained the thought that Wreck-Gar and this Nemesis Prime are going to be Russian exclusives?

Well a listing for Wreck-gar was found in the Walgreens data base last July, but as for Nemesis Prime i've heard nothing

Have Russia ever had exclusives before? I have trouble seeing nemesis prime as exclusive to one country But then again, the wreck gar ad was in English while the nem one was in Russian...

All of this being said, I highly doubt these will be Russian exclusives. But. That comes, a little bit, from American ignorance. I hear from a lot of TF Fans all over the world, but never any Russian fans. I hadn't even considered that possibility. I'd love to hear what they think of these Transformers ads making the rounds all over the web as well as the Transformers in the ads.

Nemesis Prime with his arsenal of weapons is awesome. Meanwhile, POTP Grimlock has no weapons.

I'd love to see them take opportunities like this to do a sword that looks more like Grimlock's sword, include it with this figure, but then people can re-purpose the accessory to go with the other figure. Or just include accessories with other figures to get you to buy other toys. If you want Grimlock's sword, you have to buy Tailgate who comes with Grimlock's sword, as an example. I'm assuming the exclusion of accessories with some figures is due to weight, parts count or simply cost-cutting measures, yet some figures such as POTP Slash are so skimpy compared to others that an accessory for Grimlock would have been perfect to be included with Slash.

There's only one site I know of that will occasionally make news if standard TF toys are sighted in Russia, but yes, I don't think I've ever seen a Russian TF fan on any social media that I can recollect. Not saying they aren't out there but....For the sake of argument, if it were an exclusive (which I don't think it is)...It would probably be extremely difficult to obtain. I used to get eBay listings, and sell, to all over the world, but with the cost of shipping getting ridiculous, I stopped shipping outside the U.S. about 10 years ago, and about the same time, the number of international auctions I've seen have gone down substantially, except for some Asian countries that charge almost as much as the items costs, just to ship it.

You mean a bit like the build-a-figure from other toylines? Selling accessories like that would be a neat idea, even if they were more generic, so it didn't mean you were out of lUck if the one you wanted never came in due to distribution issues.

I am happy to ship items internationally, but only to countries that has delivery confirmation for First Class International, which is a requirement of eBay. First Class International with Delivery Confirmation is something newer in the past 5 to 10 years. I'm pretty sure I've shipped over 1,000+ items internationally in the past 10 years. I love helping people out where ever I can, as long as I'm covered with delivery confirmation, and as long as I correctly estimate the weight of the package, which is the only time I get screwed but that's 100% on me, which usually doesn't happen because I'm careful to list the correct weight.

Interested buyers are questioning more and more the prices I charge for shipping, yet, as you say, I'm just trying to cover costs, not profit (the profit, if any, comes form the item itself...).

Last year I was able to help a couple fans get TR CoV sets since my local TRU had an excess of them. Granted they were U.S. fans...but even I miscalculated some fees and ending up losing a little, but that was on me, not accounting for increased shipping costs.

Are you choosing "Cost Calculated by buyer location"?

For eBay yes..., and that's where some complaints come from buyers who do not understand. My small *losses* were through private fan-to-fan transactions.

I like trying to repurpose older figures' accessories for newer figures that come up short with their "out of the box" options. FoC Grimlock's sword still works quite well for PotP Grimlock. If you wanna be a little silly, you can use TR Clobber as Grimlock's gun. Inspired by someone else's idea a month or two back, I tried giving Grimlock TR Voyager Optimus Prime's gun. It really looks the part, being black and having a double barrel, but TR Grimlock can't hold it properly. The clearance is restricted by the dino claws around Grimlock's wrists. He can hold the gun on it's side, but that hampers the illusion of it being his G1 gun with the two barrels arranged one above the other instead of side-by-side. I thought about sticking the Dinobot Enigma of Combination in the gun too in order to fill it out and give it some more definition, but it won't fit in their either because of the positioning of the "Titan Master head tab." I suppose I could snap it off, and even shave down some of the butt of the gun so Grimlock can hold it properly, but I don't like permanently modifying my figures if I can help it.

I can't see Russia holding that same kind of sway with Hasbro's international distribution to make exclusives to Russia's market profitable, honestly.
