Sure Hun-Grrr isn't all that great but I didn't buy Grimlock at all since he's not better looking than the FOC version after you add 3P piece that fills in his T-rex mode. And I don't like that combiner the dinobots form either.

Could be worse, they could have actually made the beast.
At the time of "robot form", you can recreate "pretender" by storing it in the enclosed "pre-tender suits", or you can bring on a vehicle of "Legends" class sold separately. In addition, if you transform it into "spark core form", you can combine with "pretendersuit" with weapon and you can install it as a weapon in Transformer figure over "DX class".

That magnificent six/five idea is pretty neat (which of them is going to get it I wonder...the five named characters or the other guy)

One of my two local Walmarts got two cases of wave 2 at two different times. I got Blackwing the first time and Moonracer the second. Nowhere near as well stocked as wave 1, in fact I'd say PotP isn't being stocked nearly as well as TR was at this point in the line, but wave 2 has been out there.
I just hope wave 3 doesn't hit before I can get the last two Dinobots now that I finally have Grimlock coming in the mail ($25 on Amazon for a short time this morning!).

Finally have Grimlock coming? Like you couldn't find him in stores? Him and Starscream were really common around these parts.

I think MAGA Jazz is an item with historical significance. It will go on to represent a time when politics were so much at the forefront of American discourse that it bled over into a Transformers toy. Definitely keeping mine as a future talking piece.
I think lumping Takara releases into Waves is a poor use of the term. They release figures monthly, on a more-or-less predictable schedule. They plan the release to happen once, and only a limited number of one-off figures see any redistribution. This is not what a "Wave" is.Va'al wrote:Agamemnon wrote:Hey, Va'al, wave 7 or 4?
