I thought most of the TLK Hot Rod figures were actually remolds of AOE Lockdown.

I mean, he only looks great in bot and munky modes, ok in "jet" mode(it gets a pass because that's what the original toy did), but I was most disappointed with Optimus Primal. I was willing to forgive the lack of munky mode for him because I thought he'd look good in spaceship/surfboard/slab mode, but no. It was just Primal folded up, with his giant backpack forming the front half. I was then willing to forgive THAT if Primal himself looked great and integrated into OPOP more, but double whoopsie. Primal only looks good in front, nowhere else, and he is only just a backpack for basically all modes. The cockpit can't fit a Titan/Prime Master, his weapons look awkward, and Optimal Optimus' munky mode only looks great with Primal integrated to it.
All that said, he's not a bad figure. He is definitely not perfect, but good. I like him. Is he worth retail price? For me, no. I might get him if he goes on sale though. For extreme BW fans though, I guess you'd probably like him.
I am not a BW fan. But will still get him. Btw bro, almost ALL TFs look like slag at the back and still look kick azz(and have awesome game play too)
Once you get them in hand, your perspective of him will change. Take PotP Optimus, don't even look at his back but Orion Pax as an individual is an awesome figure(just don't look behind, same with the "evolved" mode., just avoid putting too much looking behind.
I'd imagine the same too for this munkee jet.

I agree with you completely. I mean, I don't even mind POTP Rodimus' backpack for Primus sake! I really like Optimal Optimus, he's cool looking and to have waist articulation on a gimmick filled Hasbro retail figure is unheard of. It's just Optimus Primal himself. That backpack is way too big for me. Everything else though, is fine except that I can't put a Titan/Prime Master in the cockpit. Now, I thought about it, and I might actually get him at full retail price. He's still the best Leader of this line, so I think he's worth it now. That should mean something because I'm not a BW fan

The Deluxe certainly was I'm not sure about the little Legends/Cyberverse/whatever version.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
"Firestormer" is implied to be what Hasbro was gonna go with had they released Inferno back in Combiner Wars.Cobotron wrote:Now to come up with a name for his combined form.
Infernatron?
Civilservatron?

I see the usual 3rd party amazon sellers have then for double to triple price.
I never saw them in any NW ohio store, and they appeared once at various stores in SE michigan, then huge restocks of wave 1. I snagged them when I saw them, so I am not concerned for myself, but something is definitely weird this time around.
This has never happened with an early Generations wave before to me.
I wonder if anyone could press on the hasbro guys at SDCC as to what the difference is, especially since a lot of the local store shelves are empty of generations figures.
