I think the Cindersaur thing is just an error that comes form the original use of the mold like some have said. I'm not really sure why or how gender is even a thing in a species such as Transformers anyways (I'm not even sure what's the currently accepted ways they reproduce, the one that stuck in my mind the most was that whole somewhat disturbing budding thing from the G2 comics) and discussing it seems to just be one of those big ol' can of worms thing especially in this age. If Hasbro intended Cindersaur to be a she now for some reason, ok, else it's just an error.
(tried to word this the best way i could think of and i still worry i've done it wrong)

Even as a straight cisgender dude I'm glad to see some LGBTQ elements enter the franchise. That makes it more "realistic" to me. And quite frankly children need to be exposed to these issues because these people will always, and have always been here, whether or not their mere existence triggers you.

They did put in a detail based on G1 Cindersaur's horn, I'll give them that.

Speaking of co-tools, Legends figure co-tools are limited to just the head for some reason, plus the raptor head is gang-molded with the shoulder and back pieces, but not the head. There would have been no feasible way to effectively retool both the raptor head along with the robot one.

So yeah, Sky Reign is the only Hasbro 5-member CW Combiner, not counting FunPub's offerings. There's no intended way for Slash and Cindersaur to combine.

Hey thanks. Does the fact that you think my robot has a dick make you feel like you need to be one too? Always nice to get a reminder as to why I tend avoid interacting with this community.

At least I accept the scout class is meant to only have a gimmick to interact with other Titan/prime masters instead of a year now of people demanding how to rig a figure out to be with a combiner that it’s not suppose to combine with or throw a fit because they believe they’re suppose to but hasbro is just not willing to tell anyone and people whining “HAS ANYONE FIGURED IT OUT YET!? Guys, the perception of Hasbro's editorial mistakes on Cindersaurs's bios is one thing, but your personal opinions on the gender stuff really has no bearing on the toys of Power of the Primes. It's down right off topic, so let's try to keep the convo aimed at how it relates to the toys.

Thanks for all the reminders that TF fandom is horrible.

I'll go back to reading just the main posts on the front page and quit reading all the discussions where people complain about other people instead of staying on topic.

(Yes, I recognize that I'm doing the same, but that is what the forums have taught me is the correct behavior of a transformer fanboy.)

@Cindersaur gender thing: It's clearly an error with the cards. We've seen several errors like this before with these cards (Autobot Skrapnel, translation errors with Slash's cards, etc.). That being said, it's your toy, do what you want with it. You want Cindersaur to be female? Do it, it's your toy. You want Cindersaur to be genderfluid? Do it, it's your toy.

@Cindersaur combining with Abominus: Hopefully someone can figure out how to pull it off. I miss the CW days when the Legends partners formed armor or weapons for the combiners. Hit me up if you figure it out.

Anyways, what's everyone's favorite POTP figure so far? Cindersaur, Skrapnel, and the Prime Masters are my personal faves.

Ah screw this. I used to use this forum & this website to try & get away from modern politics, as there never seems to be a real escape from it anymore. But then one figure has an error with its gender labeling and the forums lose their minds.

It's just an error. Hasbro isn't brave enough to try & introduce anything like that. It doesn't matter what we believe in with gender & politics, this is a forum for Power of The Primes.

Leaving these forums until things get back on track since we can't be civil and do what Cobotron and the other mods say for us to do & get back on topic. See you guys later!

I'd probably have to say Blot and Tailgate are my favorites, probably joined by Optimus Primal when I get him. Blot has a really fun transformation and both modes are really nice looking, and Tailgate is a fun little pocket toy (plus he's great in the IDW comics). Grimlock also isn't bad (bought him on a whim) but not amazing imo.

Because she's, y'know, SLASH?

Not that he can keep a perfect grip, but it looks better than any attempt to combine her, IMO.

I was JUST about to suggest this myself for anyone interested. Not all of the Combiner Wars gestalts had a Legends figure actually incorporated into them. Both Superion and Bruticus used their 6th members as weapons. Given that the Power of the Primes combiners don't have gestalt mode weapons, I think this would be a better use of Slash and Cindersaur then trying to turn them into awkward jewelry or armor pieces, or...dinosaur genitalia.

Sure, if you want your Cindersaur to be brain damaged from smoke inhalation (these are robots, right?), have difficulty finding his own house, have bad joints (mold degradation could be character appropriate on this figure), and enjoys BBQs.
