Courtesy of the Hasbro archives we get a look at the instruction sheet for the upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Wave 2 Shockwave. It should to without saying at this point, but these instructions 100% verify that all three pieces of Beast Hunter armor are removable in both modes. Mostly what I had expected. Only thing I was uncertain of was where the head went and the cannon's power conduit/tank tread.

He's a good looking figure, but I'm just not sure he'll work on my Classics shelf.

Okay so the cannon is the arm, not a snap-on weapon... kind of disappointed, honestly - makes it harder for customizers to re-purpose as another character. I can't tell from the official pics: does the Cyberverse have a cannon-arm also, or a snap-on weapon?

Not sure about the Commander, actually. Looks fairly fixed to me.

But I actually like that the arm cannon is a cannon-arm!
Surely G1-esque fans will also appreciate this feature.

Just out of curiosity, what other character could you get out of Shockwave? :-?

Um sorry to say but not realy...thats how shockwave cannon/arm was in G1 so of course most of us love that in this figure!!! Cant wait to have him!! :DANCE:

Most prominently, Six Shot.

Perhaps some head-swapping for a Longarm Prime. Would work better if the cannon were detachable.

So despite the fact that the entire character of Shockwave is based on a toy robot that had a cannon for an arm, you want Hasbro to make it as a generic robot holding a gun so you can re-purpose it? 8-}

Add to this: he wants to turn it into a character that was blatantly Shockwave but with the wrong name (probably due to losing the copywrite on the name):
