You weren't asking me, but... I have a 20 year old brother in law and I consider him a "kid". I'm a few grey/missing hairs older than that and I collect toys, so I still consider myself a kid, sometimes. I like to label things as fun or not fun, works much better in my hobbies.

So, I guess it's a perspective thing.

O there were: they were called Gobots ;)

Robots in Disguise legion class Fixit and Underbite found at Hong Kong retail

Postby william-james88 » Mon May 11, 2015 4:02 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Fellow Seibertronian weebot17 informed us of the first sighting for the upcoming Robots in Disguise legion class figures : Fixit and Underbite.

These two were found in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong at 59.99 HK$ (which is 7.74 US$) and posted by bladestorm on OZFORMERS.

The recent review of Fixit showed us that these can be quite the neat figures, so hopefully this means these will soon find a way to our shores.

I've taken a real shine to Fixit and I think I've realized why.

It's what happens when I'm in the office. I get bored and photoshops start happening.

Oops, I forogt, I really do like the little guy. I'm currently on the hunt for him. I was disappointed when I read the retail sighting was overseas.

We've gotten both of those. It seems Canada and US are pretty much synched up for this RID toyline. So Cobotron, you are collecting the legion class as well? How does it compare to the Prime cyberverse toys?

I've seen those two in our area as well. I think they may have just hit our shelves. I almost nabbed Grimmy. The whole lot of them are cute. For some dumb reason, I just can't seem to drop $6 on them.

Definitely picking up Fixit and I may grab Underbite and make him someone's pet. His muzzle looks a wee bit like the mousers from TMNT.

Overall, I've been enjoying these simpler figures. Something about being able to transform them while mouthing "TSCHE-CHU-CHU-CHU-TSCHE" is very satisfying.

I'm not familiar with that one, so I had to go to the galleries, but I think you would be done at "TSCHE-CHU-CHU".

I should have Legion Fixit and Underbite by this weekend will galleries to follow soon thereafter. If my U.S. distributor just shipped them out to my store earlier today, they should be coming to US stores soon. If I were you, I'd keep watch on Target as they seem to usually get shipments similar to my distributor.

Does anyone know if Takara is planning to release legion Fixit in their TED subline for RID2015? If all we get is the Hasbro release, that's fine, but I have a feeling Takara would match up the orange a little better with his on screen appearance. That Hasbro version looks ORANGE, while in animation, Fixit is a less vibrant orange.

I find the cyberverse Ironhide mold to be pretty legendary too. It's as complex as a deluxe figure and, through sheer will, gets to have the clear chest panel actually be the front of the truck. That transformation amazes me everytime.

I've got the Trailcutter version of that figure, and the transformation is pretty cool. The truck pegs together quite nicely. The wonky head and the goofy forearms ruin it a bit though.
