Thanks for the save, Sarblade! In the "I gotta have it/don't need it" knee-jerk reaction to seeing the photos, I overlooked that the Prime was sold seperately. Great news for me...now mebbe I can plan to buy even more mini-cons....
...back in my day, you had one alt-mode. ONE! Articulation? why, if you had enough articulation to transform, you had plenty. And if you wanted more articulation, you know what you did about it? NOTHING. You transformed, stood there with your faceplate closed, and your optics sharp, just like everybody else who didn't have ball-jointed this, and swivel-jointed that. And when your were told to, you transformed and rolled out! ...And another thing...

So it was a mistake in the listing then?

I missed that. I was going by what was shown at... Was it Toy Fair? Anyway, if they've since changed their stance and decided to include some Mini-Cons with the figure, I was not aware.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The Mini-Cons are sold separately. But the Mini-Cons themselves will still see individual releases, last I recall.

I look forward to these minicons. My only problem is that 2 of them dont seem to be coming out individually but with their designated deployer instead. You might not know this Fuhzimota, but all the little sprue gear that comes with the minicons can be connected to form 2 extra non transforming figures. And I would really like to be able to make that figure without needing to buy the deployer kits.

I might buy the Deployers, keep the minicons and give the Deployers bricks to a kid in my circle.

Distribution is so much all over the place that I wouldnt use local anecdotal sightings as clear evidence. In my toysrus, there is so damn much of combiner wars but the RID one step stuff is selling out quick. There are no more Hyperchange Optimus figures, they all sold out, and they had a truckload. Here is the entire TF section, with very very few RID figures left.

Also, while the Hasbro figures may still be available online, on Takara's side of things it's completely different. Preorders for the Takara RID figures (called TAV) sell out in less than a day while the preorder Combiner Wars counterparts at the very same discount are still available to preorder after months of being online and available.it[/quote] it sucks i tried looking for motormaster every where only to find several optimus primes and silverbolts WTH! i guess ill stick with online shopping!

I find myself surprisingly stoked for these lil mincon fellers. Especially that gorilla looking one. I think I read his name is Beastbox or something like that.
Does anyone know if they are sold individually or the more likely two pack?
I'm bummed that some of them are only packed with their deployer. They seem like an easy and fun little collection.

Transformers Robots in Disguise (2015) 3 step steeljaw found at Canadian retail
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
The newest Hyperchange (3 step) figure added to the line, Steeljaw, was found at retail today by yours truly. He was found at Toysrus in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for 21.57$ cdn. This is usually a great indication that he would be hitting US shelves soon if not already. If you spot him, make sure to report him in your respective toy sightings threads.

That 3 step looks a helluva lot like Hot Spot to me?
Edit: hehe caught ya before the fix

I actually saw the 3 step Steel jaw at our TRU a few weeks ago and didn't realize it was news until it was front paged.

You ever have a doubt, take a pic and send it in. No one reported it so far.

Saw those guys in Toronto starting last week. I guess I give so few effs about these ugly things I failed to realize that it might be news.

I saw Hyperchange Steeljaw the other day at Target as well. I gotta say the paint apps on his face look really good.

I can confirm he has hit the states as well. Saw him again at the TRU today. He is a pretty good looking 3 step changer to boot. They also restocked those gigantic 3 step Bees. Good grief that is one massive toy.

Now let's talk about them minicons. I feel an irrational need to own those.

Man me too! And I am dying to know what that secret figure looks like and how it works with the clear extra gear.
I have no clue why I am this excited for this. I like when a collect them all aspect is rewarding like this. I remember the podcast was talking about Hasbro adapting their build a figure model from the Marvel Legends line and this is kind of it in a small way.
And yeah, my sighting was the first at Canadian retail, probably wasn't necessary on second thought since so few care for these 3 steps that you'd imagine the amount of canadians caring would be even smaller.
