Still not enough is cool about the toys themselves to interest me in this line.
Strongarm is the only one I'll buy, and only because I collect fembot characters. Combiner Wars has all my money this next year.
Glad you like the size comparisons. I did them because anytime I see size comparisons they are generally of toys in the same wave, which is no good. So I picked toys that people might have or have one of the moulds of (except Quickmix, he was just handy after I got him in a comic shop in Dublin).
I appreciated that as well from both you and blacklai. It seemed that every reviewer online compares to figures from the same wave or out of scale and imported Masterpiece figures.
Back before I had the AOE Dinobots myself, I would've loved to have seen them next to the Predacons. It just seems so natural for the Dinobots to battle TFP's Predacons. All the toys were nice and colorful and it seemed that the leaders Grimlock and Predaking each had figures at similar sizes. Although since I don't have Leader or Platinum Grimlock, I'd still love to see a comparison of him next to Beast Fire or Voyager 2014 Predaking. When Beast Hunters Abominus came out I kept asking for reviewers to show him next to PCC Grimstone but nobody ever did. I now have Abominus and know that he wouldn't stand much of a chance but it would've been nice to see before I had to buy it myself. Putting the two next to each other also shows how much better Abominus would've been had Hungurr been a Commander class figure. It then would've scaled very well with the PCCs.
*Edit* Nevermind, I just went to K-Mart and picked up a Leader Grimlock for half price so now I know what they look like together. And knowing is half the battle.
