I just finnished my 5th or 6th playthrough of Mass Effect 2, and I've only had it 3 weeks. That game is just freaking awesome. Now I started to think...what if there was a Transformers game that had RPG elements like Mass Effect 2 did, with similar gameplay. You could customize the armor that you wear and make your own decisions that effect the game, but it could also be a free roam. Thats the only area I think that ME and any TF game lacks. It should be a free roam game where you take to the streets of Iacon, or Kaon, or Polyhex. And you'd have to complete different missions in each of the 3 cities, kind of like the first Assasin's Creed.
Its like a mixture of games that I'm thinking about. And it doesnt have to follow Optimus's story, it could be somthing totally different. Like having the story focus on the first 13 Primes and your character is someone connected to them. I'm thinking of going beyond the present Transformers, and following them in their early days of existance. It takes a few levels to learn how to transform, and over the course of the game you learn to transform into multiple things things. Aain going back the the Mass Effect 2 layout, you hold R1 and choose what you want to turn into. It would have to have a cover system too, thats one of the places that WFC started to piss me off.
Obviously this idea of a RPG/Free roam Transformers game would take years to make, thats why I think someone should get started on one right now. Having choices that effect the entire game and it sequels with free roam and Transformers layered on top. Its the perfect game.
What does any one else think of this?
