Thanks for the Cybertron picture. I might be able to do something with that.

I had established that Mini-Cons are about 7 feet tall in another post, so working on that, Sixspeed is 24 pixels tall, while Metroplex is 252 pixels tall. Based on that Metroplex is about 74 feet tall. I think I estimated him at 90 feet tall before, so I was a bit off. With a 13.5 inch tall toy, he's 1/66 scale.

Menasor is 199 pixels tall which is 58 feet tall. With an 8.5 inch tall toy, he's 1/82 scale.

Quickmix is 180 pixels tall, for 52 feet tall. With a 7 inch tall toy he's 1/89 scale.

Super Starscream is 165 pixels at the top of his head, which is 48 feet tall. 13.5 inch tall toy means a he's 1/43 scale. The legends toy is 3 inches tall, for a 1/192 scale.

Megatron is 46 pixels tall, which is 32 feet tall. With a 10 inch tall toy he's 1/38 scale. The Legends toy is 3.25 inches tall, for a 1/118 scale.

Scourge is 101 pixels tall at the head, which is 29 feet tall. the 7.75 inch tall toy is 1/45 scale. The legends toy is 3 inches tall for a 1/116 scale

Vector Prime is 95 pixels tall for 28 feet tall (I previously estimated him to be 30 feet tall, so I was close). The 7.75 inch tall toy is 1/43 scale. The 3 inch legends toy has a scale of 1/112.

Crumplezone is 86 pixels for 25 feet tall. 7 inch tall toy is 1/43 scale.

Override is 79 pixels tall for 23 feet tall. the 5.75 inch tall toy has a scale of 1/48

Ransack is 51 pixels tall for 15 feet tall. The 4 inch tall toy has a scale of 1/45.

Optimus Prime Sonic Wing mode is 117 pixels for 34 feet tall.

Leobreaker is 83 pixels for 24 feet tall. 8 inch tall toy is 1/36 scale. 3 inch tall legends toy is 1/96 scale.

Evac is 79 pixels for 23 feet tall. 6.75 inch toy is 1/41 scale. 4 inch tall legends toy is 1/69 scale.

Snarl is 71 pixels for 21 feet tall. 5.5 inch tall toy is 1/46 scale.

Crosswise is 69 pixels for 20 feet tall. 5.5 inch tall toy is 1/44 scale.

Backstop is 58 pixels for 17 feet tall. 3.75 inch tall toy is 1/54 scale.

Clocker is 57 pixels for 17 feet tall. 4.25 inch tall toy is 1/48 scale.

I just added several Transmetal Beast Wars character, because I found that the Playstation video game says how tall each fighter is in the intro, so I have something to base heights on for them.

I've been adding movie toys toy the scale chart. Funny when you start to compare figures. Brawl is such a big vehicle, Leader Brawl is more in scale with more Deluxe Autobot cars, and Deluxe Brawl is more in scale with Legends size Autobot cars. Meanwhile Arcee is about the size of a Beast Wars figure, as she's very short.

How tall are the movie Leaders (and Blackout) compared to the Cybertron Leaders?

But thanks for Cybertron Metroplex and Cybertron Megs. I was surprised at how tall Machine Wars Megs is. Is movie Starscream the same height since they use the same vehicle?

Wow that's actually really cool. Blackout himself should be even taller than Megs, even without the backpack.

I now have a feeling that Starscream could take on Prime one on one... :(

Good work there. Very well done. I hope to see the Autobots and maybe even the non-movie characters soon. Movie Dreadwing is another big robot. He should be a good 50 feet tall himself, just slightly shorter than Starscream by my reconing.

Can you post a link to a bigger version?

Also, what sizes did you use? I'd have expected more of a size difference. I calculated Starscream to be 55 feet tall, while Brawl is 26. He doesn't look double the size of Brawl.

I'll see about doing them to my best guesses on scale, because some of those get REALLY big.

you also have to pay attention to how they transform. Star scream cuts the jet in half during robot mode.

I do take that into account. I take the ratio of the length of the toy jet to the real jet, then apply it to the height of the toy in robot mode. An F-22 is 1890 centimeters long (62 feet!), and the toy is 21 centimeters long. The real jet is 90 times as big as the toy. So take the robot toy height 18.5 centimeters, multiply times 90 to get 1665 centimeters in robot height in real life. 1665 centimeters is 54.6 feet! Starscream is huge. He's over double the height of Brawl.

If they made a Starscream toy to in scale with the Leader Brawl toy Starscream would stand about 2 feet tall.

this is really cool!
can you compile the scales of all the movie toys in a separate list? that would be really helpful in determining which ones can pair up - ie, Robot Heroes BB vs Leader Brawl...

just wondering, what scale is MP Starscream? I haven't been able to find exact measurements for him anywhere
selling all my Alternators, like new in boxes; PM me for info! I have LNIB RTS Grapple, leader Starscream, Windcharger, legends Megatron! Also: TF07 Allspark leaders

Hmmm I remember hearing they didn't want size changing in the movie and considering they are done from CG models and not hand drawn you'd think they'd be able to stick with that. So how did the make sure Starscream didn't tower over everything? Just really really intricate transformation process?

I've been adding scales as I figure them out at the movie toy page at Wikipedia. More to come soon.

Except for one MAJOR thing, I mentioned in another thread -

- The toys do NOT transform the same exact way the movie characters do. The toy transforms are a CHEAT to get vaguely close to the movie character appearance.

Yes, I know this. As I have said repeatedly, my measurements are based on the toy transformations. I know they don't add up for the movie for robot mode.

Still the scale I give the toys is based on the length of the vehicle mode toy and the length of the vehicle mode in real life. That is completely accurate, even if robot modes heights are not due to lack of realism of the Transformation in the toys.
