Ok this is something I never understood, so Ratchet's "DOTM" deco is not in the film? He's still just yellowish green like the previous films?
Huh. TFwiki says he does have the altered paintjob (though with the yellow green still). In all my watches I somehow missed that![]()

My point about "Movie 1" Optimus is that he's more accurate to both movie 1 and ROTF than the original SS Optimus. And that Jetfire combines with him rather than the existing "ROTF" one because that one lacks the connectors; it'd be like trying to combine Godbomber with the original Hasbro Powermaster Optimus Prime.
I think we're dancing around the same point. Basically the frustration of lack of Forward thinking by Hasbro/Takara. The current SS RotF Prime should have been designed knowing that fans (like myself) would want to combine it with Jetfire. In fact they should have released Movie 1 Prime first, so there would be no need to combine with Jetfire.
And yes, I'll agree about the Titans Return part. I really wanted a new God Ginrai, and was hoping that Legends GB would combine with TR PM Prime, when I found out they didn't I put off buying it, until of course the announcement of the Siege on Cybertron set. If not for being able to pre-order that set, I would not have a God Ginrai right now.

1. They didn't know the line's fate for certain when they released the existing SS Prime, who was just half-assed in general.
2. Why would you want to combine the first SS Optimus Prime with Jetfire when it's an inferior half-assed figure that the so-called Movie 1 Optimus Prime is meant as a replacement for?
3. Seriously, there's no smegging difference in Optimus' body between Movie 1 and ROTF in the actual movies, so what the heck id your issue with using "movie 1" Optimus as both movie 1 AND RotF Optimus?!

Taking a guess here as I have a touch of OCD myself, but I think his main compliant is that they named the one that combines with Jetfire Movie 1 Prime when ROTF Prime is the one who combined in the movie. He doesn't want the first SS Prime to combine with Jetfire, rather he wanted Hasbro to have enough foresight to have called the first Prime Movie 1 Prime so that the new Prime could be called ROFT Prime so the movie names match up. That's it.
Hasbro, if you are reading this, you know what you have to do. Build a time machine and fix this.

Why would you bother? As far as I can tell, the only difference between Crankcase and Berserker's movie models is the later has a red X on his chest. If you already have a second Berserker for the head, couldn't you just paint over the X and be done with it? Cause Hasbro's SS Crankcase is a joke.

Yeah! Why is that? I mean, I’m pretty sure Hasbro’s main headquarters is in Rhode Island, why aren’t they the first?

Nemesis Primal wrote:Now then, on to the real topic I want to talk about: the mysteries of the unrevealed figures. Shatter's reveal has solved the identity of the Deluxe Character B from the Takara listings, so that's taken care of. However, using what we have confirmed with Hasbro's number system, SS-31, SS-34, and SS-38 are all unknown. One of those has to be DotM Megatron, and while he technically could fit in as any of them, I think that he's most likely SS-34 since he was shown with Jetfire and that would seem to insinuate that he's in the same wave as him unless otherwise specified. If he isn't, then he's in a wave with only one new figure in-between releases we already know about (either between Crankcase and Bonecrusher or between Rampage and Cogman). SS-38 could possibly be another Constructicon, as we know there are 4 more that have yet to be officially shown and that one is Hightower, but whichever one it is would have to be a Voyager figure included in the same wave as Rampage, or a Leader in a one-new-figure wave. Other than those possibilities though, these numbers belong to figures we have yet to find out about, from official sources or leaks, and can't be Deluxe sized unless they're exclusives. That's pretty intriguing.

They also have different types of legs, also, Crankcase has longer dreads

They're literally the same character model, just a few minor pieces and color differences between them.

https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Berserker
Are you thinking of Crowbar, who has the longer dreads (and whose toy they are using to make Crankcase, for some reason)?
https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Crowbar
What really confuses me is, there IS a character who has the same character model as Crowbar, Dreadbot from TLK. That would require some remolding for the vehicle parts, but it would make a heck of a lot more sense than trying to make him Crankcase.

Is there a non-exclusive Drift?
