I did, I wondered if they thought that it might have dropped out of use in the UK lexicon (Where it's an insult aimed at women primarily) or if they plan to change it later.
Maybe they'll sticker it like they did with that TR pack with Brainstorm Charon.
Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, LinaNui, has let us know that fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer, PrimeVsPrime has uploaded a new video review of forthcoming Transformers Studios Series Voyager Class Skipjack! Skipjack is part of the tenth wave of Voyagers, along side his case mate, Bumblebee Movie Blitzwing (who PrimeVsPrime previously reviewed here.)
Skipjack is a redeco of the previously released Voyager Class Rampage, and as a constructicon can form Devastator's leg. This would allow you to be closer to forming Devastator as seen in Revenge of the Fallen, as Skipjack is part of the constructicons who make up the gestalt.
Check out the review below!
Are you planning on getting Skipjack? Will you be swapping Rampage out for him? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...

Trying real hard not to talk myself into getting a Skipjack. I’m all for accuracy, but I’m already in a world of hurt with all the preorders I have lined up, especially Scorponok and Sky Lynx. I guess it’ll be one of those if I find in the wild then sure, otherwise I won’t go out of my way to get.
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

If you plan to make the ROTF Devastator combiner, you better not miss out. Because one should never trust distribution and if you miss out on just a single part, then it's Ebay scalper time. Dunno about Scorpy, but if Skylinx is the same as Jetfire, he could be everywhere in abundance for a long time... unless stores order less Skylinx because they still have a pile of Jetfires to clear out.
I know it's the irresponsible thing to do, but I'd go full YOLO with my credit card.

I have a feeling Hasbro designers sat down with the plan of making an '86 movie series, and ended up with about half of the figures being screen accurate enough to be SS figures, and half being slightly less faithful. Ergo, they split their figures across the two lines.
Studio Series - Hot Rod, Kup, Blurr, Scourge, Cyclonus, Daniel, Dinobots, Gnaw, Soundwave
War for Cybertron - Springer, Ultra Magnus, Astrotrain, Dead Optimus, Arcee, Quintesson Judge, Allicon, Galvatron, Rodimus Prime

When Skipjack arrives I will have completed Devastator for $200 plus tax, which is considerably less than his retail price, I believe. What I'm still on the fence about is whether to keep him or to turn around and sell the completed set, unopened. I was a little on the fence about dropping $200 for him, but if he ends up going for $400 on ebay I'll really have to reevaluate his value to me.
I say, complete the set first, then sit on it for a while. Maybe for at least a year. Take the time to think about if you really want to sell the set, or open it for your collection.
If you wait to sell it, you're guaranteed to at least get back the money you have spent. High chance you'll make double. HOWEVER, if you suddenly want ROTF Devastator after you have sold your set, you will regret it forever.
So, wait a year before selling. Don't make any hasty decisions.

Plus, there's the supposed giftset of Devastator coming, which we don't know if it will just be the eight components packaged together unchanged or if they will have new decoes and/or new accessories.

May be a Select Premium set that is a Takara exclusive and will cost over 500 YOUESSS DALLARS.

This is kind of what I was planning, though if the desire to open them becomes unbearable before the year is up, I may have my answer right there.
I've passed Scavenger in the store multiple times now because I've had him preordered for a couple of months, but it's been difficult. I thought I would see him as the weakest offering in the lot, but the Unicycle of Death is surprisingly impressive in hand - by size if nothing else.

I think it will be a half a grand set. And a Pulse exclusive.
And I demand balls accessories!

I already have Rampage, but I do like the look of Skipjack, the yellow suits the design a lot more than the red in my opinion, and it gives me warm fuzzy nostalgia for the original Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Rampage. I probably won't buy Skipjack, but even so, it looks okay.

Same here man!: For as much as purest G1 and anti-Bay the fans can be, the wrecking ball balls have really devolved a cult following I totally plan on making a set of them for my set once Overload shows up

I thought the price was already set. IIRC it was $270 US. And yes, the set should be truly screen accurate and come with *ahem* a set of its own...

And miniature Twins and human figures, but if that can't happen, at least make Devastator accurate, as vulgar as some may think that to be. Blame Bay.

Honestly if they’d make the boxset be the only way to get Skids and Mudflap, I’d be kinda annoyed. At that point I’d just get the old Revenge of the Fallen Legends and call it a day, I’d think those would be fairly in scale with today‘s Studio Series scaling.

Well, if the set bring at the very least the same things that we would get by hunting the figures individually, I think I'll finally dive in for a ROTF Devastator at that price. Even when factoring exchange rate and taxes. As for the shipping cost, for something this size it would be normal.
Speaking of ROTF Devy, remember this guy?
Oof. Hard to believe that this old outdated version still sell for 200$+.
Come see my latest creations, SHATTERED GLASS G1 METROPLEX, HERE!
Old devys dirt cheap over here, can usuall pick it up for under £30 especially if carboot hunting. I still think Tontons review of SS devy was the most honest and funniest "I have all of them! and now to combine into...**** '
The fan modes/posing helps ss devy out a bit looks wise and I'm determined for mine to be full on truck head if I get them.

And yet, while nobody's done any comparison pics yet, I think the new one is still about the same size as that old one.
