Wish the Core class was that shade of pink and not magenta, but it's a good looking figure regardless. Not crazy about the weapon, wish it covered his hand. Also looks like it splits in half for some reason?
It's interesting that they're using the "Apollo" code name again, they last used it for Age of Extinction for Dinobot Slash. I wonder who it could possibly be this time around? As far as we know BW Dinobot isn't in this movie, certainly not Slash.

Was George used before? I tried looking it up and only found "Costanza".

You know, a reissue of the VW mold would make a whole lot of sense since that figure was previously sold in the Netflix line, whose actual proper name was "Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy". It would explain how and why there is a "WFC" in the listing if it's supposed to be a Studio Series release, in that it would be a toy originally first released in the "War For Cybertron Trilogy" toyline and of a character from one of the theatrically-released feature films.Rodimus Prime wrote:So since Goldbug happened, could this WFC Bee be a reissue of the VW mold? Or will it be yet another mold besides a Camaro or a jeep?

I'm guessing Apollo is gonna be that tow truck Battletrap, since I believe he was the only RotB cast member that hasn't appeared with a codename in the RotB stuff we've seen before now?
...WFC Bee could easily be related to the recent WFC and be boring, yeah...but JTPrime speculated when the listing was discovered that maybe the Studio Series WFC Bee is as such because it's based off the High Moon Studios WFC game, and that's probably not likely...but I can't get the thought out of my head now.
My thoughts as well. The big hurdle there is his robot mode. If it was a straight rerelease, it would have to go under the SS86 line, since G1 Bee and Bayverse Bee are different. I thought maybe it could be another shot at Bee from the Bee movie itself, but that wouldn't work. Besides, even for his short screen time, Bee was an important character in TF:TM, he should be represented in the line.Sabrblade wrote:You know, a reissue of the VW mold would make a whole lot of sense since that figure was previously sold in the Netflix line, whose actual proper name was "Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy". It is pink. It's just bizarrely a deep shade of pink rather than light pink.Till-all-R1 wrote:Yeah, why is it this color instead of pink? I'd have actually considered it had it been accurate colors from the movie.

Wow, that is pretty quick.
That's wave 3 of studio series 2022 coming in exactly as the 3rd quarter starts.
By comparison, I am so far behind locally that I bought my wave 1 deluxes on Pulse during that sale and can finally join in on the conversation regarding those.
That SS BB Ratchet toy really surprised me. While I wasn't sure at first since parts of the alt mode looked off, I just fell in love with the transformation. The team at Hasbro really went out of their way for this ratchet toy, giving us very different looking modes from robot to cybertronian vehicle that bring new details to each mode while also using the same parts in new ways. It really is my perfect type of transformer.

I hope the voyager NEST listing is a retooled Ironhide like his RotF Recon toy. I would LOVE that!
I did get the NEST Bumblebee too, he is pretty nice. The colors are good on this mold

None of mine have had loose hips. And this one is no different
...the alt modes are definitely similar, but they practically have inverted proportions compared to each other in bot mode, so a new mold would probably work better. Plus the Cliffjumper repaint-with-new-head option still exists to give the mold reuse, if this is what's happening and that would be a concern.Emerje wrote:You know, it probably wouldn't take much to retool Bee movie Cybertronian Bee into WFC game Bee.
