Neither Megatron, Sunstreaker or Skywarp were in the Bumblebee movie. What exactly are they then?
Megatron had a pre-production design, and Skywarp is an easy repaint of Starscream / Thundercracker.
But Sunstreaker?
Frenzy and Rumble too?
Some of them have to be mistakes.
So Level A, instead of A Level. At least its looking like a actual sub-line now. Though that MV8 prime is a bit strange.

But those 3 seconds include the most iconic scene of the film
And if we got Snarl in SS86, then literally everyone in that film is on the table.

As for Megatron, yes he'll probably be from the BB film designs we have seen. Frenzy and Rumble would be made to give BBM Soundwave more minions to insert in his chest. Plus we did see one of those bots in the pack in comic that came with the movie.
So that would only leave Sunstreaker with no link or design from the BB movie, which is why I think it's SS86.

The strangeness is he shares a sub line with SS-86 Bee. Also, what Bee? Netflix re-release? Buzzworthy Bee? A new Mold?

Maybe the Studio Series Commander will be him with a battle trailer!
Also looking forward to Leader Swoop and seeing what "Next Gen" BB is!

By the sounds of it they won't be exclusive to any one store, simply a small set of popular characters that stores can constantly have in stock. Think of it like the big box retailer equivalent to Authentics or Cyber Battalion at "market six" discount stores. Sounds like all of the figures will be Deluxe, but I wonder if they'll be price like SS Deluxe or like Earthspark to make them more enticing to kids.
I still think it would be smarter for a 40th anniversary Commander Optimus to be a stand alone figure rather than part of a line. We've seen Prime get that honor for other milestones in the past and would people really complain about three CC figures one year?

Well, the person who shared the rumor claimed to be a department manager at Target. Perhaps there was some confusion? It makes sense if they're going to do the A series that they use movie designs since that's what kids recognize now.

He does sound confused. He was probably told movie designs, but what they likely meant was Studio Series, not necessarily the live action stuff since 86 Bumblebee is one of them. They also might be thinking it's an exclusive since it's in the current exclusive number range (like the Star Seeker capsule and the Selects Autobot Multipack) but in this case it seems like just means it has a special status different from regular Studio Series so they can have a dedicated peg.

It will help if you provided some pictures to show what you actually mean.
Because I could give him a toilet plunger for all it's worth.

A toilet plunger might be better than that somewhat lame blaster that he has. So the figure came with a type of blade weapon and a blaster. I was just wondering if anyone used a much better replacement blaster than the one the figure came with originally...that's all.
