Indeed, I think it's the gulf between the colors of his original toy and character model carrying over to Marvel and cartoon continuity respectively that makes us so often forget how his color would randomly shift from purple to a sort of pale indigo in the cartoon, since that was a comparatively subtle change. Even though light-indigo was used more throughout TF:TM, "purple" just rolls off the tongue easier, so we think of Galvy as such; therefore he's gotten way more purple toys over the years, making a light-indigo SS'86 Galvatron worthwhile, despite the sheer number of times the Kingdom mold's been repainted.

I think they'll give him the same one CC Prime comes with.

It would be difficult for them to remove one single accessory from that mold, better to just rework it in to the existing sprues.

ROTF Multipack revealed at SDCC, featuring SS-32 Optimus Prime, Jetfire, and (strangely) Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1. Turns out there was only one deluxe instead of the rumored two. All figures appear to be unchanged except for SS-32, who has Energon swords instead of the blaster.

I am really surprised it's the Arcee sisters, but it's nice that Jetfire gets a second go at it.

Also, It's kinda funny, this pack has all the bots who died in RotF. So it is in a way a bit of a corpse pack itself.

The Studio Series September unofficial fan tournament is BACK for its third year!

This fan-run tournament was started in 2022 to take a look at our substantial roster of remaining live action characters in Studio Series and have fun talking about the ones we’d most like to see in the future! Our first tournament focused on our on-screen cast, while 2023’s season focused on concept art and characters from other screens, which ended up timing nicely with the recent additions of concept art and gamer edition in the Studio Series line! If this is your first time with the tournament, here's a look at how those first 2 years went:

This year we’ll be returning to a look at our on-screen characters, so only characters who appeared on screen in the live action films! To get our bracket together we need your lists of top 10 characters you’d like to see in Studio Series! To post your lists, here’s your ground rules:



RULES FOR TOP 10 LISTS

1. Live-action characters only for this list, including the 5 Michael Bay films plus Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts

2. Only characters who appeared on screen in robot mode in the actual films count for this bracket (Characters like ROTF Breakaway, ROTB Transit, DOTM Warpath, etc. are out)

3. Leaked/listed future figures are fair game! As we’ve learned, listings don’t always pan out so we’d like to show support for these characters all the way up to release! If a character on the top 16 is pipelined or revealed during the tournament, they will be removed from the bracket.

4. Redos of existing characters/designs in Studio Series will not count EXCEPT for characters who received a rerelease of an older figure instead of a new one (E.g High Octane and TLK Bumblebees, TLK Drift)

5. Remember to please be courteous and respectful in your discussion. This is just for fun!

Day 1681 of waiting for Transformers Armada Masterpiece news

I integrated TF:One Sentinel and Alpha Trion into my SS display, and then immediately got TF:One SS Prime. So now I gotta redo this shelf to make him fit.

Speaking of SS TF:one Prime, he is pretty good. He is a nice sized deluxe, but I do not like the way the crotch works, and I wish he had some forwar/backwards play in his ankles. But otherwise, pretty solid and pretty fun.

Just finished up my custom Studio Series Grindor, Ravage, and Recon Ravage! This project took a very long time to complete, partially due to my first Grindor breaking but also due to the modding I wanted to do to give Grindor a more accurate CH-53 alt mode. I modified the front nose section, added a detachable third engine, and made a new tail rotor piece!

Since I ended up with 2 Grindors to make the final project that also means I had 2 Ravages, so I did one in movie colors and another in his ROTF Recon Ravage deco!

Maybe as a final touch, do like the KO oversized Weijiang did and make a copter underbelly that can "transform" into some landscape for Ravage to prowl in? That would be quite the challenge I guess.

One thing is sure for an underbelly part for the SS leader Blackout or Grindor, it would partsform. But what the thing will do is up to you.

Still, I find the landscape idea to be genius.
