Thing is, Rodimus' camper shell isn't nearly as big as Optimus' or Magnus' trailers and his battle platform isn't nearly as elaborate (in fact, it's about as elaborate as ER Leader Optimus' is). He also only has his gun and the Matrix of Leadership as accessories. I think Rodimus as a Voyager-ish base figure + camper shell battle platform is well within the limits of the Leader pricepoint.Nemesis Primal wrote:Of these, I'm still only interested in Jazz, so I am quite keen on seeing a proper reveal for him this Friday and seeing what else they have in store. Blurr has never really appealed to me as a character, and Grim's too Sunbow for my tastes and comes with a Wheelie I don't want.
Of note regarding the Rodimus discourse: one of the credible TFW sources outright said Rodimus is the Commander as of this morning during discussion of this leak. All the credible rumors I've seen surrounding Commander Class Rodimus have pegged him as being exactly what you yourself put forth as what ER Optimus should/could have been at this pricepoint: still a Voyager-ish base figure, but with a full-size fleshed-out trailer and a large collection of accessories.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:@D-Max Commander Class Rodimus is also just wild speculation, unless I've missed something. It would be oversize, Leader would be better. We need a Leader Roddy, and a Voyager Wreck-Gar.
Whereas Ultra Magnus' trailer is supposed to be able to carry 3 or 4 full-size Autobot cars, and Optimus' needs to be able to fit at least one, plus all the other stuff in there...
Yay!Nemesis Primal wrote:EDIT: Also looks like Apollux confirmed a Voyager SS86 Wreck-Gar is coming as of earlier this morning as well, so you are getting that.

To be fair, Grimlock and Jazz are generalist versions compared to PotP's combining versions, and both Grimlock and Scourge have a size boost.Burn wrote:Yay. More characters that we got just a few years ago. Much excitement.
