Completely redid my paint work on SS DOTM Soundwave, very happy with it now!

Heading back to school this week, where I have SS DOTM Bumblebee and Galvatron waiting! Can't wait to check them out!

I greatly enjoyed Bee Arcee. Not only her bot mode is perfect but the transformation was easy and fun to figure out despite the Cybertronian altmode.

I hade the visible-hands-syndrome so I place her gins this way. At least they can still act as exhaust pipes and they hide those hands.

That's how it's shown in the promo pics and instructions. There is alternate storage on the forearms which looks good too, I can never decide which way I prefer.

I thought it was in the instructions, but was too lazy to check and comment. I store them there on mine. I love that you can also transform her pretty easily without ever having to remove the guns.

Booo! Walmart.com had SS Blitzwing back in stock but they cancelled my order. By the time I decided to collect all of the Bee movie figures he was unavailable and the aftermarket price is about double the original price on a figure that it seemed like a lot of people didn't really like at the time.

I have an opportunity to get Bumblebee Studio Series Optimus for a very good price. Could he work well as a generations Optimus? I don't want to pay $100 for Earthrise! Please convince or unconvince me soon, I'd like to decide on August 2 to get it over with. If I buy and I doesn't work, I'll give it to a friend for his birthday, he love the bumblebee designs as much as me. I think it looks better than Siege, less kibble and an earth mode. (note: My generations shelf also has a spark armor shockwave on it, so I can take a little stylization, but is BB Optimus too much?) PLEASE HELP Thank you.

Well, if you're going for a G1 look, the truck mode will work no problem. The robot mode? Not a chance. It barely works for what it was intended for. It literally looks like they forgot to finish him from the chest down. So it literally depends on how you want to display him.

1 thing, if you can get a hold of Movie Trilogy Deluxe Optimus, his trailer fits perfectly with BB Prime in truck mode.

Love the blue accents and Laserbeak's neck.

I see some G1 Optimus woes here, and to that I say: wait until 2024, there's bound to be a new G1 Optimus coming that year, and it'll probably be better than the Earthrise one.

There's an alleged picture of SS86 Ironhide in tfw2005, looks pretty good. Ratchet will probably be an exclusive repaint of some sort, as dictated by tradition.

been messing around with Galvatron more. I still can't stop shaking my head, if he had had a leader budget, he could definitely have been better. I will now continue to hope that they give him another go.

To be fair, with the leaks of SS86 Ironhide, it's not without precedent that they would update the toy not long after another version came out

Difference is, AoE Galvatron is already in Studio Series where Ironhide jumped ship from mainline generations to SS86. If movie designs were allowed in mainline generations, then he'd stand more of a chance.

As long as Hasbro is still working with Paramount and pays the license for the truck mode, I don't think they mind in which line he goes in.
