We can expect engineering sharing for the SS figures. Likely new or at least significantly altered molds for mainline as has been seen with Air Razor.
Still haven't seen one of the Cheetors. Wether the one we have seen is mainline or SS I don't think has been confirmed.
Expect Rhinox and Primal in SS to share some degree of engineering with Kingdom Rhinos and Primal. Which isn not a bad thing.
Kingdom Primal is pretty good. If they enlarge him like they did with AiRazor, I would approve.

I can confirm, the cheetor we gave seen is mainline, not SS. Also, in total honesty, I don't see much sharing, even transformation wise between Kingdom Cheetor and ROTB Cheetor.

Thanks. Make sense its mainline rather than SS since it shares very little. I can see the arms end up in the same place and the thighs do similar things to Kingdom Cheetor, but it's much less obvious than AirRazor.
We'll see if SS Cheetor looks closer to Kingdom then.
william-james88 wrote:For those wanting more info or images regarding leader class Studio Series Rise of the Beasts Scourge, we have two new ones to share. One shows him next to his fellow Terrorcons (SS Battletrap and ROTB Nightbird) in alt mode and the other shows him next to voyager Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime. There will be more reviews and images coming as more fans got him early through the Asian online markets, like Shopee.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

If they were just going to have a gang of ground based evil transformers, why not give them an original faction name? By misappropriating the Terrorcon faction name and applying it to these characters, it's just irking the long time purists.
I haven't watched the movie - because, ya know - Bayverse. But I hope they at least didn't do with the "Terrorcons" what they did with the Decepticons in the TLK movie. Just gather a random gang in a heist-style montage. Then have them attack once in only one scene, get totally clobbered, then run away and never be seen again.
And the current theory is that they're using the name "Terrorcon" instead of "Predacon" for the main bad guys of this movie so that the name can align with the use of "Terrorize" like how "Maximize" does for "Maximal".ZeroWolf wrote:DeathReviews wrote:I've been familiar with the Terrorcons since G1 - and... those ain't no Terrorcons. This isn't the first time the Terrorcon name has been used in non-G1 as seen in Energon and Prime

Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

And the best thing about Transformers is adapting and changing things. So, I'm agreeable to the changes, since that's like... the whole thing.

This ain't G1, so they will repurpose G1 names here like they always have done. Same old same old

Chinese SNS boards are mumbling about how they're getting sent out to the KC Toy Safety "Korean Certification standards" where figures are reviewed for making sure they pass QC to be sold in the region.
We've seen this before time and time again, specially with early WFC and SS 86 they typically have a card of numbers under the figures in the pictures.
