TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES CORE MOHAWK
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES DLX SUNSTREAKE
We don't yet know of every single Transformer who is to appear in the movie. We never know that before the release of any TF movie.RiddlerJ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Because Beast Wars characters are in Rise of the Beasts? Why would Beast Wars characters be in the Studio Series Line?
Yeah, but Scorponok and Megatron aren't, are they? I thought the point of SS was movie characters.

But that would require the severe alteration of the mold in order to get an alt mode. Siege Shockwave requires the extra pieces to complete his alt mode, even if it is a really pointless and dumb design that we never actually saw in the show.RiddlerJ wrote:Till-all-R1 wrote:

They could just sell the base figure without the armor pieces
Recall that Shockwave was one of the candidates for the Power of the Primes fanvote, which had he won would have seen him gain a super mode like the other Leader class toys of that line. Chances are the armored up form of Siege Shockwave was carried over from the concept of POTP Shockwave.Rodimus Prime wrote:But that would require the severe alteration of the mold in order to get an alt mode. This time however, we don't have confirmation from shipment records or vendor lists so there is no consensus on which particular version of a character the list below may be referring to, so that has been removed to avoid confusion. We will update if this list turns out to either be fake or further confirmed. The list was first published on the TFW2005 website.
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES CORE MOHAWK
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES CORE RUMBLE
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES CORE STARSCREAM
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES DLX SCORPINOCK
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES DLX SUNSTREAKE
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES DLX WFC SIDESWIPE (High Moon game)
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES VOY WFC STARSCREAM (High Moon game)
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES VOY 86 SCRAPHEAP
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES VOY SHOCKWAVE
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES LDR MEGATRON
TRA GEN STUDIO SERIES LDR TF86 SWOOP
And yes, while Hasbro did specify that Swoop would be the same size as the other Dinobots on Instagram, some fans were still being worrywarts, so hopefully this list helps in that regard.

Would be nice to have, one of the few designs I liked from that film and the old Voyager/Leader toy could use an update.

You're right. Mohawk is from TLK, so it makes sense Megs might be too.
The "old" Voyager still holds up fairly nicely I'd say, but I would not be opposed to an update that hides the feet better.

I'd very much like for that to be the case, but I think SS TLK Megatron would be a Voyager since Megatron is a little shorter in TLK. With improved engineering and articulation though, it could be possible. Maybe a Staff accessory too?
Actually, including Starscream's head on a TR Headmaster port (like SS DOTM Thundercracker's head) would be an awesome pack-in accessory for either TLK Megatron or Daytrader!
The original listing indicates this leader Megatron as MV6 (Bumblebee), but it's thought to be a typo for 86 so I suppose the identity is up in the air. TLK Would definitely be my pick!

No he doesn't. The base figure just turns into his normal gun mode without the extra pieces

It's not rumored, I just wildly speculated and wishfulfilled because it says MV7 on the listing, which is Rise of the Beasts, lol. Could just be a 2007 misnomer or something. Megatron says MV6, so he's either based on Bumblebee concept art, or SS86 miscategorized, like it happened with Wheelie.

Now that you mention it, nope, no Sunstreaker has appeared onscreen in any Transformers cartoon since the 1980s.Till-all-R1 wrote:Overcracker wrote:Please let that Sunstreaker be SS-86 and be using the Earthrise mold... pretty please....![]()

Curiously, has Sunstreaker ever appeared in modern animation? I don't know much about any of these shows but what few episodes I've seen of each I don't recall ever seeing a version of Sunstreaker.
The news article says "the designation of the characters is said to be erroneous at times. Meaning that "MV6" can refer to "86" as we saw with 86 Wheelie which was listed for vendor sites as "Transformers Generation Studio Series Core Tf7 Wheelie".Till-all-R1 wrote:So it would seem to be ER version. However in the recent updated info it's listed as MV6, which I would take to mean the 6th Movie but I also don't recall a Sunstreaker in that either. Other Bots like sweep clearly indicate 86, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up and we've got a long time to wait.

I guess Hot Shot kinda took over his role of "self-absorbed yellow Autobot sportscar", like how he also took over both Bumblebee and Hot Rod's roles of "kid-appeal Autobot" and "cocky young Autobot car with untapped leadership potential" for a time, too.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Now that you mention it, nope, no Sunstreaker has appeared onscreen in any Transformers cartoon since the 1980s.Till-all-R1 wrote:Overcracker wrote:Please let that Sunstreaker be SS-86 and be using the Earthrise mold... pretty please....![]()

Yeah that's something that came up with my Top 5 Sunstreaker list. Unlike other G1 characters, who I'd argue are as prominant as him, he didn't turn into a legacy character. No Bayverse nameslap, nothing in Unicron trilogy or Alligned, ect, so very few toys.
