No he doesn't. The base figure just turns into his normal gun mode without the extra pieces
You are both saying the same thing.

How are we saying the same thing? Rodimus Prime says Shockwave needs his armor pieces to make an alt mode and I'm saying he doesn't.

Which altmode? Because Seige Shockwave have several.
No parts needed for the original G1 "submarine" (wink wink) mode.
Parts needed for that bad-ass Space Yamato style space battleship.

This is all probably moot anyway because it's probably a Voyager of Bumblebee Shockwave

200% sure that's the case.
Now I wonder... in what... thing... this Shockwave with transform into?

Let's hope they will not mess this Megs up. Forget the "fat" AoE leader. Take cues from the stellar voyager and iron out the kinks.

I hate to rain on the parade because I'd like it for it to be TLK as well, but consensus from those who found the listings is that it's 86 despite being labeled as being from Bumblebee.
Well, that is what the article said:-Kanrabat- wrote:In case the TLK listing was wrong,
Now, please be read this attentively: the designation of the characters is said to be erroneous at times. Meaning that "MV6" can reffer to "86" as we saw with 86 Wheelie which was listed for vendor sites as "Transformers Generation Studio Series Core Tf7 Wheelie 5010994112134".
A SS86 Megatron would be a new mold, but still a tank.-Kanrabat- wrote:I really wonder what will a SS86 leader Megatron will be?
Will they DARE make him transform into a gun?
Or will he still transform into a tank but 5his time around, ALL the tank kibbles will completely disappear from the bot mode?

DeathReviews wrote:It's nice to see more of Leader Snarl. But he's not due out until the end of this year, right? It's crazy that a reviewer is somehow getting hold of finished product almost ten MONTHS before they're supposed to be available to the public. And Hasbro seems perfectly OK with this seemingly regular and ongoing arrangement. It certainly doesn't seem to be a 'secret', and apparently the reviewer is getting paid very well to do it. These early vids are being published openly, often months before Hasbro reveals the figures themselves. If Hasbro was at all concerned about these early leaks, one would think they would take measures to put a stop to it.
But having said that, I hope (based ON his review) that Hasbro takes some measures to make sure Snarl's dino head will tab together more securely. I have G1 Snarl still in my collection, and it has ALWAYS been a matter of frustration that his dino head just won't stop splitting in half. And I'm disappointed that the back plates, AND the sword, use soft plastic. None of the other leader dinobots used soft plastic on any of their parts, not even Slag's horns. It was all hard plastic. Why is Snarl suddenly getting the short end of the stick in that regard?
Hopefully Hasbro will at least use these early leaks to get feedback and fix those issues by beefing up the tabs to hold the dino head together, replacing the soft plastic with hard plastic, and using the same gold plastic for the dino head and legs. They could do all of that before the official release, seeing that Prime v. Prime has spilled the beans so early .

Hasbro already said in one of their recent videos that Gun Megatron isn't happening.

Isn't that kinda defeating the purpose of SS? Why bother with Megatron at all?

Nope. No SS86 toy released thus far has come with a Megatron gun accessory.o.supreme wrote:RiddlerJ wrote:IDEALLLLLLY, they should have a tiny gun mode Megatron pop out of the figure to represent his shrunk down alt mode.
There have been multiple toys that come with a tiny Gun Mode Megatron accessory. I'm pretty sure one of them has been with a SS86 release?
