Is it just me or do the Bumblebee and Hot Rod in the two pack look like new molds?

They are. But they are based on the flip-N-change Lockdown. I'm not sure if Bee is a new remold because there was a FnC Bee in AoE, but Hotrod definitely is.

Bumblebee is his old one, and Hotrod is a new-head redeco of Lockdown. In the two-pack we are currently discussing, Bumblebee is a redeco and Hot Rod is a new mold that shares a transformation scheme with Lockdown, Crosshairs and Stinger.

Found Scorn and Nitro Zeus at a Walmart near me. Nice to see that they're in stores and available at a closer place. All I need to do is hide at least NZ so I can get him later on! I'll wait for Scorn on another day.

According to online retailer Amazon.com, the supposedly Walmart exclusive Transformers: The Last Knight Hot Rod (from the Autobots Unite sub-line) is actually not that exclusive after all, as it was listed here (though currently unavailable, at the time of writing) for general retail release and pricing - and packaging. Ok, this is very weird at best. The Product Number is off. The listing has C4058, but the original releases in Asia have C2019 stamped on the toys, meaning they should be considered two different products altogether.
It could very well be a redeco, or a separate general retail release among the likes of RiD Starscream. Or just a goof.

I'm sorry I got confused. I thought the stock image was of the Legion two pack, not the one-step changers. I didn't know they were coming

I wonder if this was a backup plan, in case Walmart dropped the subline as an exclusive. The packaging is standard TLK packaging-Autobots Unite has its own logo and shows both 'Bee and Hot Rod on the front, with Bee actually more prominent.

So either Hasbro had him as a backup plan, or always planned to release him at retail later on.

Weird...I've been checking Amazon for quite awhile for this. The only deluxe Hot Rod listed was and still is available is from the Asia market and priced at $100+.

Holy Crap that is badass! Hot Rod is one of my new Favorite Movie Bots, and I want that one!! Badly!! It's so sweet! I'll get that and it's repaint if they do one based on his Movie style, I want Gold and Red and Black (spare the yellow)! Bring on an MPM Soon!!

Don't like the face, don't like that he's French, don't like he's annoying as hell in the movie. Don't like his Pokémon gimmick. Practically every Transformer "character" is super one dimensional, super loud and has super few lines, does one or two action attacks and then stands around for the other 5 seconds of screen time they have.

That aside, so his Pikachuuuuuuu!!!! Attack is his thing right, where the hell is his gun in toy form?
It's like not shipping Optimus with his Sword, or making a Megatron toy without his arm-cannon.
Wait, never mind, why would the toys make any sense if the movie...
Why do the only 2 cool characters in the movie have terrible toys? (Dragon Storm / Infernicus)
Thank Primus they haven't made a toy out of Daytrader.

Well that's a better box even just for showcasing Hot Rod himself as the main picture rather than Bumblebee getting in the way.

Really liked the character in the film and the toy is a lot of fun and while not super accurate it's a great retool of the Lockdown mold and nicely painted. Am happy with it.

Where? I've never seen TLK Hound for sale in any store here. AoE Hound wasn't either but that had other problems (like most general stores not even selling the regular AoE figures). Never seen any TLK stuff beyond wave 1 sold in stores (wave 2 deluxes in Argos sure, but not the voyagers). I got Megatron and Sqweeks ages ago via other means.

Thanks to another news outlet, I was informed that TLK deluxe Hot Rod is available on Walmart.com. Did the whole order 2 and return 1 for free shipping. Kind of a pain since there isn't one near me, but I'll eventually make it to one.
