To be fair, Pokemon and Sonic plushes do technically count as "video game memorabilia". Had it been plushies of non-video game characters, that'd stand out more towards your point.Kurona wrote:It's not exactly like they're making half of their shop Transformers; these are just a few simple things on the side that they know are popular and they know will sell well. Game shop I went to all the time had a few Pokémon and Sonic plushies at the counter - this is basically the same thing. Strange that this is where it shows up first, but...

it is a retool. all they did was change the backpack and the front car symbol

There's also new tires, and new ankle panels. They retooled the car shell, Robot mode is apparently the same robot with a new chest.
Though that begs the question of where the car front ends up now, since in the original it was his actual chest piece. Now it probably just hangs off the back.

I think it's the same, but it's hard to tell.
Also, I just found the car front: look at the back of his feet. You can see the front grill complete with the circle where the emblem goes (facing backwards but the circle where it goes is visible) sitting there.

Makes sense, he is reversed after all. Thats kinda clever. I think I will get this guy afterall, I do like samurai TFs.

Only if they said so back when it was still gold/yellow for AOECarnivius_Prime wrote:While I think I prefer the AoE chest on Drift I think I like his red colouration more. Are people still gonna say his gold/yellow face is racist though?
